In a bid to save the motoring show, the 36-year-old is also prepared to appear on television live from his hospital bed as BBC bosses have said they will only screen the new series if Hammond is well enough to appear on it.

There is such complete Hamster logic to that. "We'll wait until you can present again." "I'LL DO IT FROM THE DAMN HOSPITAL!" He couldn't be more adorable. Not entirely sure I *want* to see the crash though, considering I've spent the last week avoiding anything that even remotely looks like it could be footage of it.

Uh, this on the other hand... Yeah. No comment. Though I'm sure Jeremy will find a way to take the piss about that too.

On the father's new laptop and WE WANTS IT PRECIOUS. It has nifty blue lights and a shiny screen and though the widescreen is a little WTF, it's totally worth it. And I can't have it. *woes* Should've got a job this summer.

YAY! Top Gear convert! :D It is an awesome show. I have a some episodes I could put on a cd for you? Or I can split and upload them to Sendspace or something when I'm back in Lancaster this weekend. I think you'll like it; they're fun and wacky and drive some really, really crazy cars. It could be a reward for working so hard? ;-)

Ditto. It would break me into tiny pieces of weepiness. This is one time I hope the BBC pat him gently on the head and say "Yes Richard, of course, calm down" and then pretend it never happened.

Aww, I don't know who he is, but I've read your posts and the ones of him waking up made me feel quite happy. I think I've passed through an ep, but since it had cars zipping about, I think I just thought it was boring and skipped.

I like the Sugarbabes! My taste in music makes me cringe.

:) Yay! I was very happy when he woke up, so I'm glad I passed it on. ^_^ If you catch it again, it might be worth a look. There are cars but there's also arguing like little boys and car-football and playing conkers with caravans. It's a lot more bonkers than people seem to think.

*giggles* I promise not to say anything. ;) Besides, I was so obsessed with wrestling at one point that I went to see a live show. Guilty likes = make life way more interesting. :)
