I? Have none nothing today, really. Parents went off to some National Trust place -- again, they joined and now they seem to be trying to see every castle and garden in Britain -- so I got back from opticians and vegged in front of the replay of Roger's match from yesterday. He swore and then laughed at himself. *harts* A guy shouting "That's why it's called Rogers Cup!" at 5-5 in the second set threw me for a minute though -- it wasn't until the third time listening through that I realised the last word was 'Cup' and not another word beginning with c. I did think Roger might have reacted more to that if it had been. ;)

I didn't believe the commentators that Rafa had lost either. Had to go look it up on the ATP site, since the Rogers Cup one is driving me mad with the uselessness. Does it make me a bad person that I was happy about it? I like Rafa just fine but firstly, Roger fan here, hello, and secondly another Roger/Rafa final? Not so much with the excitement. A Roger-Murray final would give me squee but I'm not sure whether it'd be worth it for how grumpy it'd make kindoftrouble. ;) Besides he isn't playing well enough to get past Gasquet right now, so he'll have to pull his socks up if he so much as wants a chance.

Aside from getting poked in the eye a couple of times in the opticians -- and finding out that in all my swapping of contacts-that-don't-work to see if I had them in the right eyes, I'd managed to get them in the wrong eyes anyway -- it went fine. Once I'd got them back in the *right* eyes again, he had another look and admitted the left one did seem to be a dud so he'd order me a new pair. NOT CRAZY, KTHNX. Which means I can think about how much I need new glasses before October instead and how much it's going to cost me, considering my lazy lack of joblessness. -_- Ack. Has to be done.

Hattie the hamster is being muchly spoilt. I made some cardboard shelves to give her a few different levels to her cage last night because she looked so *bored*, then today we bought her a new wheel and some hamster treats. From her reaction, I'd hazard a bet that she's never been spoilt before. She goes home Tuesday and I'm going to be sad. :( I'd forgotten how much fun it can be to have rodent; they like to play and be handled way more than Casper would ever put up with.

INTERNET, DON'T YOU DARE BREAK ON ME NOW. ARGH.

I don't think you'd know how grumpy that final would make me. It scares even me, because I already don't like it.

*pets* I doubt it'll happen anyway. Murray's playing some idiotic sets this week; he's apparently lost all ability to serve out the set. I'm not really expecting him to win.

I'll give you an alibi. ;) I like Murray but I'm getting very sick of having Gilbert shown every five seconds during his matches.

Good. Because Richie! And Richie in the final would make me squee. I haven't watched any of Murray's matches, except a couple of games of him and Tim playing. *kicks him* I'll cry if he wins. I really will.

I hate Brad Gilbert. You missed most of Andy being coached by Gilbert, I hated him then and I hate him now, and the hate has increased since the abandonment of Andy for like, four months, even though Andy was still paying him to be his coach. *kicks Gilbert too*

But I don't like Richie. ;) Murray's pretty much the only one I've watched because my dad's always watching TV in the evening and he doesn't mind watching Murray so much. As long as Roger wins the tournament I'll be happy. If Richie wins, I'll sulk for the rest of August. ;)

*pets* Calm. What I've seen of Gilbert makes me dislike him, though I haven't seen enough to back-up full-out hatred. I'm just waiting for him and Murray to have a massive fight and split though. *shrugs* It'll probably happen sooner or later.

Andy. :( I'm missing Andy this week.

*grins* I think he'd overhit a shot and as it went out he said "Shit!" very clearly. He started laughing at himself and got applause. :) It was cute.

It would. *wistful* They're still on my "want to slash" list. That's definitely a good strategy, because he worried me taking three sets yesterday. -_- I want him to have a good hard court season to make up for clay.

If you want to get pelted with the nearest portable objects, you will be. :p He didn't win any of them and for Roger, that's as mentally bad as going out in earlier rounds. Rafa crushed him in the RG final and you know it. His self-esteem took a kicking and I just want him to make up for it over the next couple of months.

You are a sick puppy. :-P *pets Murray and his adorableness* *nods* Plus, I think everyone just assumes he'll make it to the finals, and chances are usually good, but still. He doesn't always getto the finals. *snuggles him* Well, he'll get a lot of points for this tourney 'cause he wasn't at last year's. And hopefully, he'll play well in Cincy... and we'll just keep our fingers crossed that he wins the US Open again. :-D Unless Andy, Mardy or Tommy gets to the finals, then all bets are off. *grin*

I like it. :p It's not even as bad as Rafa/Roger, somehow. I do love Murray and his talking to himself on court and tantrums and everything. I'm happier about his chances now Rafa's out but you're right, just when we always expect him to win then he doesn't. I want him to have a good hard court season. :-/ If he's playing Andy or Mardy then all bets are off. ;) Tommy's already beaten him this year.

*grin* Yes it is. ;-) It's worse in some ways 'cause there's such worship in Andy's eyes in the few pictures I've seen of Roger & Murray when they're together. *nods* It's hard to watch him get soclose to the finals sometimes, then get bumpoed out, so I'm trying for the, let's just wait and see approach. :-) *grin* Nah, if it's the US Open? And Tommy has a shot at beating him when it actually counts? Go Hasi! :-D
