Ho-hum, sitting on the sofa watching tennis. Yayness, especially since Roger won, unsurprisingly but hey, it's still nice. Plus BBC's nifty super-slow camera shots are giving me some shiny things to use in vids if I ever get round to it this summer. Also, Mac and Jimmy were hilarious during the rain delay. *harts on them* Roger and Rafa need to have a big public fight to create some tension between them. None of this "respect him very much, no?" and "we aren't there yet" about the final, stuff. Maybe they should start doing promos like in wrestling. Heh. Or you know, not. ;-) I can just imagine fans spontaeneously combusting.

Roger watches wrestling though, or did. I'm sure he can manage a passable Rock impression. Though the eyebrow, that might take some practise. Oh, I miss Rock and his eyebrow and the sheer amount of *attitude*. Curses on not having any old wrestling on DVD! I wonder if I could hook the video player to the DVD recorder this summer because I have a ton of old Hardys matches and definitely some PPVs. Hm. Now there's an idea for a rainy day.

Ah, nostalgia. Makes you do the craziest things.

edit: I don't know if I can watch Nadal vs Baghdatis. Every interview I've seen with Baghdatis's just made me want to snuggle him more and watching him lose his serve in the opening game, when it's the one thing he said he didn't want to do? Sadness. :(

edit: In other news, yes I am aching from playing tennis yesterday. Shutup. ;)

*giggles* Me and kindoftrouble have already decided there should be jelly matches introduced when we take over the ATP, so mud-wrestling-matches can probably be worked in there somehow too. Definitely with minimal clothes.

1/2 the boys would quit outtright ;) Roger would pretend to be outraged, but really he'd like what we made him do. I also propose Marat be made to wear a pink tutu skirt like Sharapova's every match until he wins a tournament...watch his results get better instantly.

*snuggles back* I'm still poking at Holly's Damyata extract. My Halcyon!verse muses are a little rusty. I did, I've just been terrible at commenting lately. ;) Though, it feels like I'm still not awake after the last month so I probably wouldn't be saying anything coherent for the next day or so anyway.

It was but then Holly saved me from Dying Horribly in London and I thought I'd just scribble something quick as a thank you. Only this is me and quick is not my strong point. *woes* The tennis fandom needs crack!fic. You should do it for the good of the tennis fandom. Sleep is very important but days need to be longer to fit it in. >_<

Well it's the longest thing I've written for weeks and I've blocked out the remaining dialogue, so it's just writing it up now. >_< Ack I miss the days of writing seven thousand words in a night. If I haven't finished it by late tonight, I'll post what I've got so far. I'd forgotten that when my Andy and Mardy Halcyon'verse muses get talking, they just don't shut *up*.

*grins* Marat flirted but he flirts with everything on two legs, so I doubt he meant it as seriously as Roger took it. If Tommy hadn't turned up, something probably would've happened but I doubt it would've ended well or been more than sex. Halcyon!verse Marat and Roger would definitely fight a *lot* more than their RL counterparts now.
