I've never screamed this much abuse at Roger before. Oh Roger, I love you more than life itself -- even with the blazer my mother just opinioned looks "Pratty" -- but you lose at life when it comes to a Brit winning Wimbledon. ;) I'll be cheering for you just the same next match, when you whether or not you win this.

Now, stop playing so well and let Tim win a set dammit! Fall on your face, get a blister, trip over your shoelaces, all is fair when it comes to Tim and Wimbledon. ;-) Come on Tim!

edit: Oh Tim, you wound my soul. I know it's not gentlemanly but I give you permission to sneak up behind Roger and bop him on the head with your racquet at the changeover.

And McEnroe likes the blazer. :p INTIMIDATION TACTICS. I like that better than the excuse of Roger having no fashion sense.

You might've noticed but this is *Wimbledon*. If this was an English exam, you'd lose points for going off-topic; as it is, you lose at life in my eyes BBC. :p

LOL! This is why I love Wimbledon. The whole British aspect of it.

I love the British crowd. *harts them* The country would actually stop altogether, I believe, if a British player won.

There is and all I can do is *facepalm* Still, I hated his shirt passionately last year and at least this year it looks nice. I'll forgive him for the pink. :) (Plus no shirt could be as bad as the pink horribleness of that thing... was it Hrbaty? wore last year. ^_^)

So McEnroe thinks the blazer is intimidation tatics? *Confused* I'm not sure how a player would find Roger's blazer intimidating. Wouldn't being Roger Federer, Grass God be enough?

It really would be. :) I'd be happy all summer. Possibly forever. It's looking like Murray is our best hope of it ever happening right now though. *sighs*

He gave an example of a guy he once played coming out in a smart dinner jacket and a ten gallon hat, which made him instantly think "Wow, this guy is *good*." People see Roger looking poncey all toffed up in his jacket and remember they're playing world no 1, three time Wimbledon champion, gets into their heads. *shrugs* It might work, you never know. At least it'd be enough to remind his opponent that he *is* Federer, God of Grass. (Though my mum thinks he just wearing it because he's getting paid a lot for it. ;) )

I have yet to see any outfit get anywhere near that bad. :) As long as Roger doesn't decide that'd be a good look for him, he can wear whatever the hell he wants.

Okay I can see his point now, but I'm thinking there's a quirkier reason for Roger's blazer. Or maybe Andy just dared him to wear it, and have everyone scratching thier heads :). Either way, it's funny and we should tease him relentlessly.

Yeah, I can't see Roger thinking "I'll intimidate my opponents with a blazer." It is a very bizarre thing to decide to wear; there must be some quirky reason behind it. I like the dare theory. ;) Dare theories are good. He should be teased relentlessly in hopes he'll wear something less embarrassing next year. ^_^

It's really not. :( I'd give anything for Roger to fall on his face right now. That's because the London council people got rid of them all from Piccadilly Circus. There probably aren't enough left in London to mount an attack. *woes* Therefore this whole fiasco is the higher-ups of London's fault. *finds a scapegoat other than Tim*
