Alas! I heard yesterday that Hamster was going to be on Radio 1 this afternoon and completely forgot until half an hour ago, so I only caught the end. Dammit. I'll have to listen to the online rerun when it goes up. They abandoned him on his own and it was hilarious. ^_^ Poor Hamster. Radio 1's music hasn't improved since the last time I listened though. x_x

He also mentioned something about recording voice overs for Top Gear on Sunday and I was distracted so I missed what he said. Something about playing football with cars again and I hope I wasn't just imagining it because that will never cease to be awesome.

"You can't not love Richard Hammond." - Colin Murray. IT'S SO TRUE. And now they're talking about how good he smelled. O_O DUDE. I have to listen to the radio more often.

edit: Okay, so maybe there's a tiny glimmer of good in all this World Cup madness. It's making them play football with cars again on Top Gear and that? Can never be a bad thing.

They should play the World Cup with cars. It'd be hilarious. Plus the players would be happy; they wouldn't have to risk getting mud in their hair. I'd be happy because there'd be shiny destruction and it'd be... well, more entertaining. Play everything in cars! World Cup! Wimbledon! Synchronised swimming...

Okay. Maybe not.

edit: Okay, based on an email I just got from uni, I... I don't think I actually *can* fail this year. At least, not if the strike continues until the end of June. Without the marks from my exam and all the coursework I've done in the last four or five months -- some of which I'm still twitching over -- they're basing passing or failing this year on the marks we got in the first term and a half. Considering for me that's a grand total of two, both in the 2:1 and very comfortable pass range, I'll be awarded a pass regardless. And, even if the coursework I've done since then pulls me under a pass range, I'm stuck with the pass. It won't come down. Okay so a pass mark sucks but it's a pass.

At least I think that's how it's meant to work. Something like that.

...

Oh, just grow up and damn well pay them already. For godssake.

edit: Watching The Sound of Music when you've been to Salzburg and can recognise some of the places is hilarious. :D It's like "I SAW THAT."

I heart the Sound of Music. It made me want to be climb the Swiss Alps, even before I knew who Roger Federer was!

Me too! I think it was the first time I saw mountains and went "Ooooooo... *harts*" The fact that Roger's from around there just confirms the awesomeness of it all. ;)

For half decent music you've got to listen to Radio 1 in the morning or on certain days late at night.

And thanks for reminding me I still have to send an Email about my missing business assignment.

It certainly wasn't playing good music mid-afternoon, though Hamster more than made up for it. Radio irritates me these days with the sheer badnes of the music. At least CDs, you can just skip to the next track. ;)

Glad to be of service. ^_^
