Mary-Sues. Who would I point and laugh at without them? Well, probably quite a few people but that's not the point.....

I just visited our old favourite Mary-Sue author, took a idle look at her favourite stories and nearly *every* one is also a Mary Sue!! There must be some conclusion to be drawn from this. Does one Mary-Sue attract others, like flies to a rotting corpse? Ew, just grossed *myself* out there. I must have been doing Psychology too long - I'm already wondering what conclusions I can draw from this. *mutters 'bloody psychologists'*

But there could be serious repercussions from this. If the Mary-Sues gang up on us, all could be lost. There is an army of bad writers of Mary-Sues out there who could take over if they realised how numerous they were. o_O We're doomed! DOOMED I TELL YOU!

Oh right, they'd have to have brains to do that. *sigh of relief*

Sorry, I'm taking the piss here. ^_~ I don't mind Mary-Sues in general, it's when the authors reject constructive criticism and deny that it *is* a Mary-Sue that it annoys the hell out of me. I've said this all before haven't I? ^-^ Still, they do provide a source of amusement occasionally so,.... *shrugs*

I take it you're speaking of the one whose mature handling of constructive critiscism involved blocking us from reviewing and bitching us out in her author's note?

Yep, got it in one.

I still laugh at her. *grins*
