clo_againI KNEW IT, I KNEW HE WAS GOING TO SAY "LANGUAGE IS JUST LIKE ALGEBRA" THE MOMENT HE USED THAT STUPID LINEAR GRAPH THING.
Language is totally not algebra. Am resisting the urge to tell Ferdinand de Sassure to do something extremely unpleasant and probably physically impossible. Mainly because he's dead and it would be a waste of breath, but that's not the point.
Stay out of my way today Roger. I'm feeling vaguely homicidal towards the country that produced Sassure and since he's very unhelpfully gone and died on me, you're the only other Swiss person I know to take my revenge out on. I have wrath. You have been warned.
