clo_againIdly checking what I can and can't send to K in Oz -- a little late now, having been sending stuff there for years but eh, better late than never -- and apparently you can't send 'horror comics' from Australia to the UK. *blinks* Horror comics? Meaning... what exactly? I'm also a little bemused by the 'mineral products', although that at least makes some sense on the scientific level. It's just vague. What constitutes "mineral products"? I mean, would something like a semi-precious stone be a mineral? An amethyst bracelet? Or do they mean literal chunks of rock? The Australia Post Office site is beating the UK one for easy to find info though, no question.
I'm wasting time again, it's turning into a habit. At least I actually started work today, not that I got particulary far.
Yay Royal Mail! Took you a while but you gave me the list in the end. Sigh.
edit: I'm considering whether or not chocolate will be considered "perishable". Hmm. I did promise Chocolate Survival Packages though. And short of the box actually getting lost for a year or so, at which point she won't be in Oz to receive it anyway, I can't see anything that would go terribly wrong with it, short of it maybe getting a little soft and that's easily solved by sticking it somewhere cool for a few hours. Mmmm.
It's only chocolate, it's not like it'll cost a lot anyway. If Customs confiscate it, then they do. *shrugs*
