Meh.....

Well yesterday, we were messing around outside college and Chris was chasing me. I was hiding behind Lucy and Lucy grabbed hold of Chris' jacket but had to let go, so Chris slammed into me and I fell flat on my back. Only I was wearing my backpack, so my head didn't hit the floor, which at the time I thought was a good thing. But when I woke up this morning, my neck was so stiff I could hardly move it, so I think I must have gotten whiplash or something. Can you get whiplash from falling over? All I know is I've had to take some tablets for it and they haven't kicked in yet. *sniffles* So I'm sitting in front of the computer trying to not to move my head too much. Pain... lots of pain... I'm wondering if I could get away with taking the day off - Classics, which is the most important lesson at the moment, has been cancelled today (hence why I'm sitting here now), English and Media are only 50 minutes long and I've already handed in my work for Media that had to be in today and Psychology...... I don't know. We won't be doing anything I can't copy up and I haven't missed a Psych lesson for about four months. It depends if these tablets have started working before I have to go and catch the bus. I've got a ton of work to do anyway so it's not like I wouldn't be doing anything......... *is torn* My parents aren't here to convince either. If they were I'd complain about my neck, say how pointless today was and they'd say "Yeah, ok, stay at home." But if I just stay home they'll be annoyed. Ggggrrrr dammit. Maybe I should ring the woman. Yeah, I could do that. *muses* I'll have to do it now though or I'll have to leave and catch the bus. Right.

*runs off to complain to her parents rather than her LJ*

Edit: SUCCESS!! Bring on a day of blissful coffee drinking and relaxing. The woman was rather easy to persuade actually. Maybe it's because I haven't asked for a day off in so long. ^-^
