Mar. 22nd, 2006 07:30 pmWord count: 1437. Less than 600 words of space left and too much to say. Woe. On the plus side it looks like I will actually finish before 3am, though I'm carefully not thinking about the terror of The Footnotes. It's been weird writing an essay not-at-5am. You know, actually being awake enough to see the screen. I really should do it more often.
On the downside, I have no illusions as to how good it is and am wincing at the thought of how much I keep wandering away from the argument without realising but eh. At this point I just want to hand the damn thing in and go home for Easter.
edit: On a routine coffee run, walking into the kitchen to be confronted with four Cypriots, only one of whom will speak to me (and then only when not surrounded by other Cypriots) and one girl who I am close to *convinced* is the devil, which I mean in a non-teasing-Holly sort of way, as in *actually* the devil because she looks *that* terrifying?
Yeah. I'm going to wait an hour before I even think about making dinner.
edit: What's the word for distance in time? Like spacial, except not... or is it? *goes to look it up with a sigh*
edit: Temporal! I knew watching all that Star Trek had taught me something.

Date: 2006-03-22 07:46 pm (UTC)Your essay will be fantastic because it's you. So there we go.
I told you I wasn't the devil :P

Date: 2006-03-22 07:54 pm (UTC)No, really. I like the sound of my academic-y waffling too much and then, six paragraphs later, I realise I'm several theories away from my original argument and have to drag it all back on track. My most inspired thought of the day has been finding the almost-unquestionable slash that I originally missed. If I pay attention I should hopefully get it done and be able to hang out on MSN for at least a while tonight, though whether that'll be ten or eleven (or possible twelve. >_< *kills footnotes*) remains to be seen. ;)
Okay, you're the devil fic-wise but this girl is... She has to be in the top five most terrifying-looking people I've ever seen. Possibly top three. I reallyreally would not want to bump into her in a dark alleyway.
But you are still the devil. ;-) So neh.

Date: 2006-03-22 08:01 pm (UTC)*giggles* I did that all too often with essays. Way too often. *pets* And yay Clo time tonight!
NOT THE DEVIL. Nowhere close, because you are so the devil fic-wise. Unquestionably you. And scary people are... well, scary.

Date: 2006-03-22 08:07 pm (UTC)It's the funnest way to write an essay. ^_^ Plus then you get to use really long, insane sentences with the word 'temporal' in them to make it look like you knew what you were talking about all along. *loves English* I just hit 1,532 words, so if I could just get a move on and pay attention I'd be finished in probably a couple of hours. *makes herself focus*
ARE SO THE DEVIL. I'm not! I don't write porn and taunt people with it! ;-) Though I might this weekend, just to get revenge. And they are. Especially this girl. She's.... I don't know, she is just scary. R agrees, so it's not just me being weird. ;)
