o_O The Dragon is a wily, tricksy creature. Now I have to yell politely at some complete stranger for builders waking me up at 8am. Though we are justified in complaining; some of the crashes of poles hitting other poles were loud enough to make me flinch earlier. Thankfully they went away and I managed to get some more sleep which has helped dizziness somewhat. I almost-fine again, which makes it all the more bizarre. I'm meant to be going into town for food though and I don't know if I should put it off until tomorrow. >_< Not passing out in Sainsburys vs actually having food to eat.
And... and oh god. o_O I just got an email telling me that because I'm a combined Creative Writing major, English doesn't want me to do a dissertation. I have to 'persaude them of the suitability of my topic' if they're going to let me do it.
WHY IS THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT SUCH A PAIN IN THE ASS? *wants to do her dissertation* >_< Okay, find me some good topics.
*SHRIEKS MORE* I just got the email back from Gentleman Who Deals With Scaffolding Folk and he'd simply forwarded the emails, so it had them all. And The Dragon's fwd of my email to him said: "Apologies for having to send this to you but to be fair the notices regarding the scaffolding saga have clearly stated 10.00-4.00pm so I suppose she has a point." *:P to The Dragon*
*dies* In his reply to Edwina, which I also have for some reason? He calls her Edwin. *dies some more*
The point though, is that they've apologised and promise not to start before 9am in future. Not quite 10 but a nice compromise and I like it. (I'm ignoring their excuse in the apology that says 'We have to get the roofs finished as quickly as possible' because that damn scaffolding has bene there for about three or four weeks with hardly a builder in sight. Does he think I don't *look* out my window every day or something?)
Okay, now I have to go get ready for my seminar and hope I don't decide to pass out halfway there. This has been such a weird morning.

Date: 2006-03-15 12:05 am (UTC)Have been eating lots of swiss chocolate and feel a bit sick. Helped with essay writing, though. Should have got some Baileys in Tesco too. Hmmm...
Okay, will shut up. Am just making excuses not to sleep. I've been in denial of mornings for two weeks in the evenings. Sadly the mornings still seemto happen.
