clo_againSo I was exhausted. I was looking forward to my first good night's sleep in a while. Not getting up until ten and maybe not even then. And what do the builders decide to do? Take down the scaffolding on the building across from us, making a HUGE, CONSTANT NOISE.... at 8am.
I'm emailing The Dragon to complain. And considering sticking a sign up on my window saying CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT UP, THERE ARE PEOPLE SLEEPING. Jesus, they wouldn't be allowed to do this in an actual town, just because we students doesn't mean we don't need sleep. We pay enough for the fucking rooms.
edit: Oh The Dragon is so going to have to side with us. The original notification she sent promised that 'work will take places only between the hours of 10am and 4pm.' And she's the type of person who does absolutely everything to avoid giving us any justification to complain. Sent the email anyway, so we'll see what she says.
My college has a Wikipedia article. *blinks* That's just weird.
