Feb. 26th, 2006 03:36 pm*clings to fast, reliable internet* Maybe I won't go home at Easter. I may not come back to uni sane, if the internet insists on throwing tantrums every few hours.
kindoftrouble and
lossi, sorry about last night. I tried to come online about half oneish I think and got a very definite lack of workage of the internet, so I got annoyed and went to bed before I broke something. Just finishing the last bit of the first scene of marshmallow-fic then I'll email it and probably be online later around work.
WALES ARE LOSING. Damn yous Ireland. Plenty of time though, plenty of time. Rugby is fantastic. Yes they aren't so much pretty and yes it probably makes you certifiably insane to want to play it (one guy just got up from a tackle with a nosebleed and a mouthful of blood, casually washed his mouth out with some water and carried on playing without so much as blinking an eye) but it's so damn funny. Except for when Wales are losing because that sucks but otherwise, it's awesome. I keep trying to imagine what the tennis players would do if dropped into such a violent contact sport but it's kind of hard. And funny. I think we should get Roger and Andy and everyone to play a charity rugby match at some point.
Wow I have so much to do. o_O Not least of which is cleaning out poor Rizzo and Gonzo. A fed them for me and I think she must've been putting handfuls in, they've so murky so fast. She did good though, given that they're still alive and... well, swimming.
Do stuff. Yes.
edit: WALES, WHY ARE YOU SUCKING SO BADLY?

Date: 2006-02-26 04:08 pm (UTC)I have new bribery for you. In the form of drabbles and some kidnapping fic. This means you should write fast, yes, otherwise you don't get shiny, but evil, things.

Date: 2006-02-26 04:12 pm (UTC)YAY!! There's nothing better than shiny,e vil things. *writes faster*

Date: 2006-02-26 04:17 pm (UTC)That's true. And you should know, as you're the provider of shiny, evil things.
no subject
Date: 2006-02-26 04:29 pm (UTC)Not as shiny and evil as yours! After all, you are the devil. ;-)

Date: 2006-02-26 04:48 pm (UTC)Nope, your things are far more shiny and evil as mine. And I am so not the devil.

Date: 2006-02-26 04:57 pm (UTC)*Kidnapping* fic? Nothing is more evil and shiny than that. And you so are. ;-)

Date: 2006-02-26 05:26 pm (UTC)Datta is more evil and shiny than that. Way, way more evil and shiny. So not.
no subject
Date: 2006-02-26 06:03 pm (UTC)Really it isn't. Especially soncering it's abrely started yet whereas you probably have more kidnapping fic already written and that's very shinily evil. And are too.

Date: 2006-02-26 06:10 pm (UTC)Really, it is. Datta is way more evil and shiny than kidnapping. I only have two chapters so far. And then my head started dying so I stopped writing. And am so not.

Date: 2006-02-27 06:23 pm (UTC)Having now seen the kidnapping, I can very definitely say that IT'S SO NOT. Kidnapping is the evillest, shiniest thing ever and we need to find a way to get your head to agree. And so are. ;)

Date: 2006-02-27 06:51 pm (UTC)Lossi agrees with me. Datta is more evil. So you lose. And you only think Datta is evil because you know what's going to happen! WE'RE IN THE DARK. Mostly. So, so not.

Date: 2006-02-26 04:09 pm (UTC)Hahahahahaha, tennis players, play football, not rugby!
I have my essay to finish...by tomorrow. :p At least I've started it.

Date: 2006-02-26 04:19 pm (UTC)Hah, football. :) I was watching rugby yesterday with my dad and kept asking "So have they scored now?" because I thought they had but they were being calm and deadpan about it all in contrast to football players's mad dancing around the pitch with every goal. I'll never stop mocking football. There's so much to mock. ^_^ Okay, he just went up in my estimation. At least it's better than playing footbal or golf, which is all the others seem to do.)
Yes but didn't you mean to start to last week only you got an unexpected deadline extension? ;-) I have to write my newspaper blog before they kick me off it, creative writing, start reading Middlemarch again... suddenly I'm wondering what the point of having a reading week was.

Date: 2006-02-26 04:48 pm (UTC)Football, I like and forgive, golf on the other hand...HOW IS IT A SPORT!? It's not!!!
...Maybe. Shut up! :p Reading Week is a conspiracy.

Date: 2006-02-26 06:12 pm (UTC)Ngh, football. Football is only redeemed in that it can, only lightly when it comes to the madness of professhional football but still, be described as a sport. Golf is standing back and doing nothing for ten minutes before whacking a tiny ball with a stick in the general direction of a tiny hole. The best thing about golf is the pretty scenery and that could still be appreciated better if they turned all the golf courses into horse trekking places. Mmmm. He still isn't really growing on me. I don't dislike him, nothing like that, I'm just... I don't know. Not bothered I guess. :)
*giggles* I do that. ;) We need the pressure to work; it's a good excuse. And it is! One to make me do no work at all.
Yay!!
