I promise not to squee too much. And we haven't paid or know what seats we've got or anything yet and won't till Thursday, so I'm trying not to get excited until tickets are actually *in* my hand. Besides, you need to come over and visit sometime so we can go! :D Even if we queue it'll be awesome.

I wouldn't care what seats I got as long as I was going! Actually, I've been trying to push a trip across the pond complete with Wimbledon tickets to my family for a while now. I've pitched it to both parents and the sister and I am wearing them down, I can see it. So I'll let you know when one of them finally caves so we can meet up or something. Let's just hope I get over there before all of my favorites have retired. :P

Yay! I'm excited for you. I bet it will be an awesome time, no matter who's playing. All I ever get to see is Houston Clay Court Championships (which is actually okay, since Andy comes every year) but it must be completely different at a slam. You'll have to tell all of us everything that happens.

Neither have I; it's wolves8 who got it. Apparently her mother's known since yesterday but she didn't think it was important enough to call. !!!!

I know! I was like "I'm sure that's the same day Holly's going..." Neh neh, I know. ;-) Still, Court 1 second week is *awesome* when we could've got Court 2 on the last day, with *nobody* really good playing. Closer to the time, I *will* be going "WHAT TUBE DO WE CATCH? WHEN SHOULD WE GET THERE? WHERE DO WE GO? kindoftrouble HELP!!!! Since you're a pro at this compared to us. ;-)

... HOW IS THAT NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO CALL?! We do not have any luck, though we still may get tickets for the earlier rounds which would be great. Next year we have to have our tennis party and queue.

It's awesome that we're going the same day :D *taunts* Court 1 on the fourth round day has great matches too, and I will be so jealous if you get Andy. So. Jealous. (I think Roger only ends up on Center, so I'm fairly certain you won't get to see him.) Still, squeeeeee! Wimbledon tickets! I was about to start telling you, but it's slightly pointless now, considering we're so far away. I was about to say I'm not a pro, but uh... yeah.

I KNOW!! My mother would be ritualistically sacrificed if she withheld news of Wimbledon tickets for that long and she knows it. Yes, we may yet find out. And I'm in the LTA one too which doesn't tell you until March. :) We absolutely have to do our insane tennis-party-queue thing next year. It'll be insane.

I know, what're the chances! :p Last year Andy was on Court one on the middle-Saturday, so hopefully he'll be on it again. (Roger definitely ends up on Centre always, so no Roger alas. Unless we get Andy and you get Roger and we trade tickets for five minutes just to see them hit a few shots. ;-) Tennis slashers everywhere at Wimbledon, it's just awesome.) Wimbledon tickets!! :D *giggles* It's very reassuring that you *know* though, because we were wandering blindly in the dark pretty much last year. See! Total pro! ;p

Same. My mum would never, ever withhold knowledge of Wimbledon tickets from me. I've also entered that one, just because I reallyreally wanted tickets... the fact that I knew I was getting tickets was irrelevant ;)

Maybe they just want all the tennis slashers there on the same day, so they don't have too many days where they have to hide everyone from us ;) Last year I saw Andy on Center though, but it was his light-delayed match against Broccoli guy, usually he does end up on Court 1. Poor Andy, all unloved by Wimbledon ;) (That would be fun. I can see that happenning. Besides, it would be unfair for me to get Andy and Roger... though it would be very pretty.) Eeee, yay! This is true, you have someone who has been a lot before, and I've always had my dad who's been more times than I have. I still don't know how to get to Wimbledon Park station afterwards, so it's easier to catch a train.
