I really should not be proud of myself that I've merely managed to write and email a 300 343shutup word review before 12pm, because that's *it*, that's *all* I've done, including getting dressed and having breakfast. Mmm, breakfast. I think I've also managed to melt my brain with around 15 episodes (out of twenty six, not so bad) of Ghost in the Shell:SGA watched over about twenty four hours but it's that good melt, where the goo that remains thinks it might have to go out and acquire some more anime when it manages to resolidify itself. Not that I need more things to take up my time but hey, why waste time? Procrastinate now!

Roger lost. I'm considering those words from all angles with detatched curiosity. Roger. Lost. I've realised that it actually *does* matter who he loses to though, since I was much more upset when he lost to Nalbandian. I like Tommy, even if he did butcher his ponytail in horrible ways and it'll be interesting to see Andy who wins this now but... Roger lost. He didn't even put up much of a fight from the look of the scores. Fascinating.

Also, yes, upsetting but hey, Andy won. If Andy's in the final now then I will kick Fate into next week for stealing our Roger-Andy final from us but right now, I'm lost in that comfortable detached state of boggling. Roger. Lost. Hhhmmm.

Where o' where has [livejournal.com profile] scoobydumblonde gone? :-/

Roger losing is just odd. I do like Tommy though, even with his new haircut which I'm starting to like.

My guess is that Andy kept Roger up too late ;)

It is odd. :-/ Hope he doesn't make a habit of it. Apart from Andy, Tommy's the only person in the tournament I think I don't mind Roger losing to, so it's not as bad as it could be. :) Tommy's haircut is much better than Andy's drastic SHAVE-IT-ALL-OFF!!! approach, which definitely wins him approval. Only mourning the very pretty ponytail is keeping me from liking it completely right now and that'll wear off. :)

*cracks up* :D Oooooh, Roger is going to want payback. If Andy loses his next two matches no! *touch wood* we'll know why.

This is why I love them playing in the same tournaments. ^__^

Same, I don't want him losing all the time. Though he's allowed to lose to Andy once in a while. If he'd lost to Ljubicic I would have been less than impressed. It's true, and he looks cute with the new hair! I think it suits him more than the ponytail, but the ponytail was pretty. Andy's shave-it-off approach also grew on me. As did the I-can't-be-bothered-to-cut-my-hair look.

:D I'm sure Andy can think of something ;) He can't lose now, he's not allowed to. *touches wood also*

Me too. I just counted backwards and they haven't played in the same tournament since last August o_O

I know people say it's no fun when he wins everything and yeah, maybe, but it's still nice to know he's got a better-than-good chance of winning every match he plays. Much less stressful. Andy is the exception; he can lose to Andy every time they play and I'd be happy. No one should lose to Ljubicic, grrr. He does look cute with the new hair, sort of younger. It does suit him, I just can't resist ponytails. ^_^ I never got used to it. I practically counted the days until it grew out. ;) I *love* the can't be bothered look though, it's adorable.

Poor Roger, he may win on court (or, um, not, at least this time) but I'd bet money on him being no match for Andy off-court. I would love Andy to win this now. *more touching of wood*

August?! Crikey, no wonder I was starting to twitch. o_O That's unbelievable. And explains why Roger lost in TMC; he hadn't had sex for months.

(Tags are evil. *kicks them*)

I like knowing that if I watch Roger play, he's more than likely to win. And, he also plays really pretty tennis. Andy's the one who causes all my stress, and I'd like it to stay that way, I can't cope with both of them doing it! Indeed, if Roger lost to Andy this year I would have joy and squee. Ljubicic should totally go somewhere else. Like, wherever he was before. He does look younger and cuter and... yeah, I do like the short hair :D *pets Tommy* I only decided I liked the hair yesterday, when I spent a large portion of my day resizing photos from the end of 2004. I could have just been staring at Andy too long though. The I-can't-be-bothered look is so cute, really. It's so Andy. And when he was at the TMS Paris this year he had hair that reminded me of a kitty, it was adorable.

Well, he usually wins on court (which is good), but yeah. I just see him going along with whatever Andy wants to do, because you can't really resist him. He should totally win. I went to check his head-to-head earlier and he has winning records against Kiefer and Guillermo (in fact, he hasn't lost a match to either of them) and a losing one against Tommy (but he won their last three matches). *is still touching wood* Go Andy!

Yeah, it was the US Open! I couldn't believe it either. It was why I was so looing forward to the TMC until Andy pulled out. Hee. Probably.

It's comforting, not having to stress too much over his scores. And yes, very pretty. :) I love watching him. The amount of stress Andy causes is enough for him *and* Roger, so Roger'd better not start following his example. We'd all pass out from stress-overload. I think we should all agree to throw a party if Andy beats Roger this year, to get out all that pent-up frustration from so many matches these last few years. All was good and happy on the tennis scene before the ominous shine of Ljubicic's head appeared. The whole 'young and cute' aspect is definitely growing on me, especially with the pictures [livejournal.com profile] greeniebach posted earlier. Staring at Andy for too long probably makes you like him regardless of his hair, even if it was green and gelled into spikes. He is so very pretty. The can't-be-bothered-look still wins though, just because it is absolutely a typical 'Andy' look. Of a *kitty*? That is adorable. Aww Andy, he does cute as well as Hamster. :)

Total pushover when it comes to Andy. *nods* Andy will just pull the sad-puppy-eyes and Roger'll do whatever he wants. Hhhmm, thought this is Andy and he doesn't seem to like 'should wins' though hey, Queens and getting to the Wimbledon final disapprove that, so maybe... *keeps touching wood so as not to jinx him* Yay Andy! Wish we actually got soverage of this.

Wow, that's long. o_O Two halves of a slash pairing should never be apart for so long, it's bad for the slashers sanity. Or at least, bad for fic. I would've loved Andy to be in that MC. Given *anything* in fact. Poor Roger.

I was very surprised that Roger lost, especially since he just won a tournament and well, he's Roger. And to Tommy? I mean, I love Tommy (just look at him, how could you not?) but he's not really the most consistent. I found it very strange. Maybe we can blame it on the haircut. :)

Exactly, pretty much any time Roger loses is a surprise but this especially was something I think most people expected him to waltz through, no problem. For all we love Tommy (mmm, definitely impossible not to when you look at him) he wouldn't exactly be counted amongst Roger's greatest rivals on tour either. Maybe Roger left his motivation at home, Tommy had a great day, I don't know. It is very odd. Must've been the haircut! ;) Without the weight of the ponytail he can move faster or there's less drag, more streamlined... something like that.

Ture. Although I find that I'm less surprised when it's against one of the younger guys, like Gasquet or Rafa, maybe because they're ... I don't know, less set in their ways, or something? They just seem to be able to muster up what it takes to beat him. I don't know, but I've seen Tommy play a dozen times and I would have never, ever thought he could beat Roger when Andy and Hewitt can't even do it. But you're right, Tommy had a great day, and he beat Coria today which kind of surprises me too, so maybe he's just on a hot streak. And maybe Roger's not. I'd only guess that since all the times I've seen him lose it's because he's missing something - motivation or his complete fitness, or whatever else.

Maybe there's just some weird quality you have to have to beat Roger. I don't really think it's any one thing because, comparing the guys who have managed to do it, none of their games are really even similar. Gasquet and Tommy? Hardly. It's just one of those phenomenons that us mere mortals will never fully understand.

I'm starting to think that since this is an exhibition tournament, Roger didn't take it as seriously and probably felt like it wouldn't hurt his stance to lose one match(since it doesn't count to ATP). Last week when it counted, he easily beat him 6-3,6-3.

What really cracked me up was the media's response: "Haas stuns Federer, Federer upset at Kooyong." It's so funny because it really doesn't matter. Of course since Roger rarely loses, any loss is gonna get harped on.

Tommy's hair is nice I think. It's just so dark and shiny. *Pets*
