Oh packing. How I love thee not. I'm determined not to come home at all this term and then I might be staying an extra two weeks over the Easter break to get at least some, hopefully most, of my insane amount of portfolios and projects done. However the whole prospect of an entire three months, or near as to be the same thing, without coming home is sending my packing habits into the land of crazy. I keep putting things back thinking "It's not essential" only to pick it up again two minutes later thinking "BUT IT MIGHT BE IN THE NEXT THIRTEEN WEEKS OMG *clings*". Don't even talk to me about packing the computer and the printer up. That's for 3am when I've done everything else and my arms are about to fall off from carrying things downstairs. *Every* time it ends up like this. You'd think that having done this... eight times already, I'd be good at it but no. ;-) I never realised how much crap I consider essential until I went to uni.

But since I'm mired in the land of packing until tomorrow morning, and then I'll be setting the computer up and unpacking, I'll probably disappear until tomorrow night. *Hopefully* not longer, *touches wood*, given that I have the laptop as a backup if the desktop refuses the internet, but this is Lancaster internet and they do love to wind me up something awful. But hey, if that happens I can at least voice post so all is not lost. :) Shouldn't disappear for too long.

Tomorrow night cannot come fast enough. :D

edit: Oh and one more thing for [livejournal.com profile] kindoftrouble - you think we should, just for a laugh? Bizarrely they need equal numbers of girls and boys, so I was thinking you, me, your dad, my dad... not that we'd get tickets probably but hey, maybe in 2010 they'd get back to us or something you know? ;-)

Right. Packing.

I am glad I never had that problem packing - mainly because I was only 30 miles from my house and my dad went past my accommodation every day on the way to and from work. He used to drop a lot of stuff off for me as I was totally hopeless as remembering everything. Packing is EVIL.

We should totally go! My dad would be up for it, definitely. Maybe in 2010, yes. Though, we could be lucky. We should investigate further when they have more dates. And... we should probably not be allowed near Hamster. Otherwise we might get urges to kidnap him.
