HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :D

The fireworks I could see from the window were awesome this year. One house seemed to have a special fondness for Golden Fountains which are my favourite, so they set about three huge ones off which would've been enough for me. But no! there were rockets and sparkly things and big bangs and so yes, the one in London on the telly might've been bigger but mine was better. More love. ^__^

Also, [livejournal.com profile] greeniebach pointed me towards some programs to help with DVD-ripping and suddenly vidding seems that much closer. All going to plan that is but at least I'm moving in the right direction. And what with all the things to look forward to this year, new Doctor Who, all the beautiful movies - kicking off with Memoirs of a Geisha in two weeks, then Brokeback Mountain - gay cowboys! *hart* - and X-men 3 and PotC2 and there are many others I'm looking forward to too, only I've forgotten. But good things people, good things.

I hope this is going to be as good a year as it looks. :)

Brokeback was so, so, so good and sad and wonderful. Heath's voice was funny though, because he was trying to hide the Aussiness and find an American twang at the same time. quite funny.

Geisha was nice too. The story was really melodramatic and not very well developed, but the cinematography (the clothes and actresses and location and houses and food OMC) was so beautiful that it left me wishing I was a different kind of Asian.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO A BEAUTIFUL CLO!!!!!

Everything I've heard about it so far has been good, so I'm really looking forward to it. :) Heh, Heath is awesome. I can't wait to hear him.

It's the pretty of it that's attracting me mainly. :) Shame about the story because the book was good but as long as it's beautiful, I don't really care. I just want to squee over the prettiness. :)

Happy new year to you too! :D *snuggles*

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhpre-releasesaren'tfair. :P I'm going to be back in Lancaster when it's out everywhere else and that's dire, because I don't think I could stand to sit in Lancaster's cinema through it. I might have to drag people to Manchester on a Gay Cowboy Day out, hhhmm. I squeeed the first time I saw an X-Men3 poster and got weird looks from my flatmates. PotC2 feels like I've been looking forward to it forever. It is indeed looking like a good movie year. :) I'll have to find alternative cinemas to get to easily, hmmm.
