The fireworks I could see from the window were awesome this year. One house seemed to have a special fondness for Golden Fountains which are my favourite, so they set about three huge ones off which would've been enough for me. But no! there were rockets and sparkly things and big bangs and so yes, the one in London on the telly might've been bigger but mine was better. More love. ^__^

greeniebach pointed me towards some programs to help with DVD-ripping and suddenly vidding seems that much closer. All going to plan that is but at least I'm moving in the right direction. And what with all the things to look forward to this year, new Doctor Who, all the beautiful movies - kicking off with Memoirs of a Geisha in two weeks, then Brokeback Mountain - gay cowboys! *hart* - and X-men 3 and PotC2 and there are many others I'm looking forward to too, only I've forgotten. But good things people, good things.
I hope this is going to be as good a year as it looks. :)
