[livejournal.com profile] kindoftrouble is evil. Evil evil evil. Trying to bribe me into writing plot bunnies that should not be touched. Never. Nope.

...I'm actually tying my fingers in knots to stop myself. Dammit plot bunnies!

edit: For the record? I am so going to hell. ;) Sigh.

They should be written and you know it. Embrace the strangest pairing ever.

*polishes halo*

I just typed 'Pairing: Roger Federer/Richard Hammond' and thought "I wonder if that's how Hammond is spelt?" Which is *exactly* the same thing I thought about 'Roddick' when I first typed 'Roger Federer/Andy Roddick'. I think my brain may be melting under the sheer disbelief that I'm actually *considering* this pairing.

(Careful. Your horns are knocking it a little crooked. ;) )

*harts you, because you're actually writing it* See, totally meant to be written. I had no issues with the Roddick thing, as I'd watched him play tennis for like, two years before I even remotely wrote any tennis slash and you see it at the beginning of every match. Although, I've seen it spelt Rodick and Roddic in various places.

(Horns? What horns?)

...I can't believe I'm actually writing it. Oh my god. There is no redemption after this, *ever*. The first time I wrote tennis slash, I'd seen Andy play maybe... a few minutes of tennis not including the set of the final I'd just seen, maybe an interview. All I knew was he was cute and had stubble, while Roger was cute and had a ponytail. I had to run back and to to the tv to look at the scoreboard to work out how their names were spelt and to find out which country they were from. Rodick I can understand, it's easy to glance at it and see one d but 'Roddic'? What? o_O

(Don't think I can't see the devil horns under that halo-glow. ;) The pitchfork you're trying to hide is a dead giveaway too.)

You're doing the right thing, I promise you. My brain has come round to the idea, because it's Roger and Hamster and they're both cute. The first time I remember watching Andy play was at Wimbledon 2003 and when I was at Wimbledon for the men's quarter final day I got my mum to tape his match for me because I was on the other court... and that was the start of the Andy Roddick love. And on the Friday I sat in my dad's office (I was meant to be doing work experience) and got mad at Roger for beating him, because they have a tv there. That's so cute though. Rodick, understandable. Roddic, no explanation. Unless he was French, or something.

(*is apparently very transparent and needs to find a better costume*)

The only thing I'm having trouble with is finding that *one* thing to push them over into slash, I've got a plot, a general direction, I just need that one thing. I think I've found something but you'll have to read it for me when I get there, see if it works. ;) It's the thought of the combined cuteness that's so tempting, even if it is one of the randomest pairings ever. You were a dedicated tennis fan long before me then. :) I got into it for the slash possiblities and stayed because I got addicted. I think I was mad at Roger for beating Andy in 2004, 'cause his stubble beat Roger's ponytail for cuteness. It's so easy to get mad at Roger for beating Andy though - it'd just be nice to see Andy win a few, to even things out a bit. Ah, blame the French. ;-) The traditional British back-up plan, never fails.

(You did almost have me fooled for a second. ;-) )

Ooh, yay reading :) I will be looking forward to that. Definitely, they're both cute seperately, so together they will be ultimately cute... and may kill us with the cuteness. Okay, maybe it's not such a good idea for Roger to go on Top Gear then, although he will only interact with Jeremy on the actual show. No, he should definitely go on it. It's random, but so cute. Heh, yeah. I don't remember the exact moment I was a tennis fan, but it had something to do with Goran Ivanisevic at Wimbledon 2001 (which means I must have seen him play Andy, but I don't remember it) although I'd seen finals before that, and I became addicted. Though, we didn't get Sky Sports until two more years of begging. I miss Andy's stubble and his hair at Wimbledon 2004, it was totally cute. And plus, I like Roger's hair just with the bandana. (As you can then see the shiny!) Andy should definitely start evening out their non-rivalry. Yes, always blame the French ;)

(Is the new costume more or less convincing? :P)

Don't worry. I've already got the velvet rope section reserved for myself and those who associate with me in any way. I'll save you a juice box.

Yay, juice box! We can have an Inmate Hell Party. :D

Randomly, I *love* your icon.

Hehehehe, hell parties are the best parties of them all!

And that icon, as well as this one, has been getting a lot of compliments recently. I found them both here.
