Head feels like it's stuffed with fuzz and I can't work out why. I'm all caffeined up, I've actually put the effort into eating properly today, I had a normal amount of sleep last night. Though hmm, not having left the house for... three days? Four? Might have something to do with it. Eh, I have to go to the post office and to buy the Sims expansion paks tomorrow anyway. Though if I buy them off play.com, they'll probably be just as cheap as in town and I won't get them for a few days, so I'll have no excuse not to finish all the Christmas fic... might be a good plan. Hhmm.

The new Audi ad just came on the TV and I said I liked it, because hey it's a *cool* concept, the car's a giant black widow and it's got other cars all tangled up in gothic, Tim Burton-esque webs -- and my dad's response? "You're turning into a right little petrolhead aren't you?" -_- He doesn't believe me when I tell him I'm just in it for the Hamster-Clarkson snark. Seriously, if Top Gear was a simple, factual car program? Not interested. It's only the snarking and the teasing and the smashing of caravans that matters, really.

I wish I could find that advert online to link to. It *is* really cool.

Top Gear used to be a factual car program with no snark. Did I watch it? No. Although, looking at the shiny cars is fun too, but the snark and the teasing and the stupid things they do are the best part.

I'm pretty sure I mocked my dad for watching it a couple of times, back when it was boring and I thought being obsessed with cars was pointless. (Yes, well. Look at me now. ^_^) It is the snark that keeps me going back though, regardless of pretty cars. I squeed over the cars in the Paris episode but wouldn't have watched it if it was a simple list of technical details about each one. It's that they all do mad things in cars while squeeing "TEH PRETTY!! SHINY PRETTY CARS!"

I almost died over Hamster eating that card tonight. :D Though my Sky+ box broke when I tried to record it to iconise. -_- Ggrr.

It's nice to look at the pretty cars but I don't care about teh details ;) I totally agree, it's the sillyness and the stupid races and challenges in the cars which makes it great.

Me too, he looked so... cute. With the wide eyes and the card and yes, I did squee. *kills Sky+* Seriously, what is wrong with that thing? I think mine worked, I'm going to test it out after my parents go to bed tonight. *crosses fingers* And then, I can provide caps :D

And he just stood there for *ages* with it in his mouth while the other two kept talking and it really was just cute beyond belief. *helps with the killing* Mine was working fine all day and then boom, it goes and breaks when Hamster's being adorable. Caps would be awesome! :D *crosses fingers too* There's a repeat of one on Sunday at 7pm, but I don't know if it'll be exactly the same one because while the synopsis says it's got Clarkson racing around the track, it also says it's got Hamster doing that sub-zero-temperature-in-a-car challenge and that wasn't on tonight's was it? Hhmm.

That was just so adorable and then he just kept putting more of it in his mouth and just watched them. I really feel the need to icon that as I have no Hamster icons. Sky+ really needs sorting out. Mine actually didn't work for the entire day but it did work tonight, because I tried recording the Federer/Nadal highlights and it well... didn't. Bah. But yes, caps will be provided as DVD will be recorded in... 30 minutes when The Amityville Horror is over :D That is this episode, today's said the sub-zero thing too but it wasn't on there. I wish it was on there, although, poor Hamster. Although, sometimes the repeats say they're episodes but they're actually different ones which is just odd.

It was like he wanted attention so he kept putting more in 'til they noticed and the whole big eyes and expression and... really, cute. We need Hamster icons. We go on about him enough. ;) I've found actually unplugging the main cable from the back, waiting a second and then plugging it back in usually works, since it resets the system, but Sky also takes a minute or so to work again which is useless in the middle of stuff like Top Gear with no adverts. I haven't checked if my AO highlight worked yet, so I'm hoping they have. *sigh* It really is insane, all this dumb technology going wrong so often. CAPS! :D Oh cool, so at least we have a second chance to record it if Sky+ has messed up again. The Top Gear website said there'll be new stuff on the 'Best of' episodes in the new year, so maybe they'll put the sub-zero thing on one of those? I'm starting to distrust the synopsis - one said Alan Titchmarsh was going to be on and then it was... racing driver, can't remember his name, instead. Crazy synopsis people.

*hugs Hamster* Seriously, he totally needs a hug he's just so... cute. He deserves to be talked about a lot, as he is awesome and very adorable and cute. Yeah, generally we turn ours off at the wall for a few moments and turn it back on but I generally don't notice things aren't recording until after they're over, so it's not entirely helpful. *crosses fingers for that* I know my AO highlights worked as I just put them straight onto the DVD recorder box but then we went out and then Sky+ didn't work. Technology is supposed to be helpful, not the most frustrating thing. YAY CAPS. It's recording to DVD now, so I will have caps tomorrow. Ooooh, Best Ofs. I don't care if I've seen it before, it's still great. Hopefully they will, because I really want to see that. And the synopsis people are weird.
