I'm actually awake, dressed and updating before 11am on a Sunday! Has the world gone mad? We're all mad here to quote Alice in Wonderland.... actually speaking of Alice I'm extremely annoyed. There's a twisted Alice in Wonderland game out there which features Alice, completely crazy, returning to Wonderland and finding it all strange and twisted and wrong. It came out a few years ago and at the time I couldn't find it to buy it, but a few weeks ago I found it on Amazon for £8:99 and I was like "YAY!" So I was waiting until the end of March to buy it with all the other stuff - and now it's gone out of stock EVERYWHERE. Which strongly suggests they've stopped making it. And the only used one I could find was £18:99. *cries* WHY WORLD, WHY? My brother suggested I keep an eye out for a copy in the second hand game + cd shop near my college so I'll go have a look tomorrow. Sometimes I think Fate is sitting on her cloud up there and laughing at me. *rude gesture towards Fate*
Haven't got a clue if I should be posting this here, but dammit it's my journal. I don't understand this game fully yet since I only joined yesterday but I do know I have to get as many soldiers as possible so come here: http://www.kingsofchaos.com/page.php?id=398703 and be an elf, or a dwarf, or a human, or a rat... okay that last one was a lie, you can't be a rat but nevermind. It's fun! And once I find out exactly what the hell I'm supposed to be doing all shalt become chaos. Actually it probably won't but it sounded good right?
I'm reading 'The Soprano Sorceress' and although the idea behind the book is fantastic, the book itself is only average. There are a few good tricks used, like the switching of tense to show the people watching her but characters keep disappearing, there are far too many names and people and frankly there are just too many damn places in the book. It's a good idea, but nowhere near the level of Robin Hobb or Anne McCaffrey. Ah well. I've got the woman (my mother - I refer to my family as the woman, the man, and the boy, much to their annoyance) into Robin Hobb now and I'm sitting there going "Have you guessed about Amber yet?" and she's like "WHAT ABOUT AMBER?!" *grins*
I've had this paid journal two weeks and I've done NOTHING about changing the style into something more fun and now I haven't got time. -_- So I'll do it next weekend. (like we haven't heard that before!) Meanwhile I have Myth to work on (although I need to go attack the road map upstairs to work out where everyone is going exactly) and strangely, as I was watching Smackdown! last night (I kept an eye out for you Lilly but no luck) I started idly scribbling a plotfor my ideal Wrestlemania, ignoring injuries, storylines, everything. I'll type it up sometime because it was fun to write. I'd also love to enter
ladyjackyl 's Where's Lijah challenge (trhat is if it's still going) but I simply don't have time. Hopefully Myth and LotV will be finished by the summer and I'll have some fun trying my hand at different things. Still got Heaven and Hell waiting to be continued with my Vig muse pulling the big sad puppy eyes on me. *mutters Damned Muses and a shoe hits the back of her head* HEY!
Okay, I'm off to placate my muses now. Plus to do homework. o_O But the weather is nice, so that's a plus. *waves to the sunshine*
