Power cuts when I am actually working for the first time in weeks?

But I think it might actually stay back on for Top Gear! Yay! *touch wood*

Plus my room smells of warm candle wax. There are definitely worse smells in the world. Mmmmm.

edit: Oh and now I'm turning my laptop off again, so I may disappear until tomorrow and my essay is done. Just had to bitch about the unfairness of having our first powercut in one-and-a-third-years during one of the rare times when I'm *actually* doing work. ;)

edit: Heartbroken. I forgot Top Gear is repeated at 7pm and not 8 on Tuesday. So I would've missed the first half 'cause of the power cut anyway but I sat here without the TV turned on for half an hour and missed it. And I *know* it's just cars but I've been looking forward to it all day. :(

Going to go be sad and kick myself for being stupid now.

No one I don't think. Though I was a little disturbed when my mother said she liked him too. Um. He does, though the sheer level of smarm is hilarious. He actually lost one last week against some climbers though. which was fun. ^__^

Apparently I can't even remember to see it even though I have a TV. *sighs* This is what they bring DVDs out for.

Ha! When I'm at home Top Gear is a daddy-daughter activity and my father has yet to comment on his cuteness and oh-so-gaynessOh, the smarm is hilarious.

Hmmmmm, that could work. "Hey dad, I got you Top Gear DVDs for Christmas!" "Really?" "Yeah, but they're coming back to uni with me."

We just had another one, for an hour. I've discovered what triggers it - I sit down to start my essay, the power cuts out. I think it's trying to tell me something. ;-)

I love that there are other people on my f-list who love Top Gear. I don't even know anything about cars other than the really expensive ones are so *shiny* and that I have entirely too much affection for Richard Hammond which everyone else seems to have too! I'm not alone! :D And it also has the The Stig. Coolness. ^__^

Top Gear is great just because the cars are so pretty. I also know next to nothing about them. Richard Hammond is the cutest thing ever, and I love it when Jeremy Clarkson teases him abot being gay, it's just so adorable. I just want to hug him. The Stig is great. Really great. Insane too.

Oh it's so tempting. ;-) Essay's worth something like 1.25% of my entire degree but I'm hoping I do well enough on it to be able to fail my poetry test in a few weeks and not have it affect anything. ;-)

I never used to think that cars could be pretty but the ones on Top Gear I would sell my soul for. (There should be more tennis slash car-sex in the pretty cars. ^__~) Did you see the whole 'Top Gayer' thing a couple of weeks ago? Poor Hamster but it's so cute. He's one of those people who may as well have "PLEASE HUG ME" written on their foreheads. Stig is definitely insane. The whole show is just so awesome and snarky. :) *harts you again for sharing Top Gear love*

Well, then you should do your essay, even if your power doesn't want to you, because failing would be bad.

Some of those cars on Top Gear I would totally steal (I have been told I don't have a soul to sell, so that option is out). And there really should be. I was watching the Facing Federer DVD earlier and my brain decided that afterwards Roger drove to Andy's house in his shiny new car and they had sex in it, cause, shiny.

Oh, that was just fantastic. Top Gayer. *dies of laughter again* Poor Hamster indeed but he wouldn't be as cute without it. He definitely should have lots of hugs. I love the snark, even though I feel Jeremy Clarkson should get his ass kicked once in a while.
