Okay, I *like* Andrea Bocelli's duet with Lesley Garrett on Time to Say Goodbye. I do. I don't however, like it played loudly enough for me to hear the words through the *floor.*

My speakers are flat to the floor with Nirvana being played with the bass turned way up again. They played The Killers loud enough for me to hear it as if it was playing in *my* room a minute ago.

This is ridiculous... wait. I think they stopped...

No they didn't. Wishful thinking. -_-

edit: Wait! They stopped! Ah-hah!

edit: No actually they were just switching back to The Killers. Dammit.

edit: THIS IS VERY DISTRACTING.

edit: In hindsight, these are twenty-something guys I'm dealing with here. Possibly starting a war was a bad idea.

Then again, Nirvana will always be louder than The Killers. Heh.

edit: Interesting. Jimmy Eat World's 'Bleed American' actually makes my desk vibrate. I think they've stopped now though. Hopefully I irritated them at least a fraction of how irritating they've been to our flat recently. -_-

If you're gonna start a war, you need baaaaaaaaad music, not Nirvana ^_~

I know but if I start downloading *really* loud music specifically to play, then this really will be a war. *sighs* I'm most definitely considering it though. I have been meaning to listen to some Black Sabbath lately actually. Hmm.

It depends on who you're fighting really, rock fans won't care.

However, if you've got trance!heads upstairs like me...*remembers the bliss of joint flatmate heavy metal attack*

They seem to be more the light-rock/punk/pop types, so I'm guessing they wouldn't be too pleased with Sabbath or whatever heavy metal I can get my hands on. :)

*giggles* Now *that* sounds like fun!

I am far too amused by your music war *giggles*

Though I agree, really loud music when you can hear every single word is really, really irritating.

If I make it fun, it irritates me less. *nods* The porters won't come out to help before 11pm, so we have to defend ourselves by any means necessary. ;)

It really is -- especially when we have great soundproofing between rooms, so to have me hearing it that loud, they must have the volume turned all the way up. They'll be deaf by the end of the year, along with the rest of their flat. -_-

I thought that song was with Sarah Brightman.
