Why is my f-list stretched to oblivion? I can't see an obvious reason and it's driving me crazy, because I can't read anything.

I bought new jeans today. I am a bad, broke student but they were *shiny*. Also, cheap. Ish. Only now I'm *really* broke. Nevermind; it's not like I need food for the next four weeks or anything. I can live on jeans. ;-)

My Long Way Round DVDs came today too. I'm thinking about having a marathon of it later while I work on either Underneath or Datta, probably Datta since I've barely thought of it yet and November's pretty much vanished. I used to be able to get 7,000 words of Halcyon done in a night; I'll see how close I can get. Have to ignore all the mad bunnies for [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100 that are tearing my ankles to pieces. Too much to do and I need to stop being lazy and do it.

Really really need to actually, because I'm very broke this year and I hit on a shiny idea for Christmas presents. Anyone I'd usually be sending presents to - [livejournal.com profile] liroa15, [livejournal.com profile] scoobydumblonde, [livejournal.com profile] mercury32 and so on - would you be happy with fic instead? Anything up to around the 4,000/5,000 word mark probably, any pairing and any fandom that you know I know well enough to write, any particulars you want and such. I can send cards and probably little things but Christmas is beginning to loom like a horrible hole in my shrinking funds. *sighs* So, fic? I'd offer Photoshop stuff too but I'm pretty much happy to do that whenever, even if it does sometimes take a little while. ;-)

In f-list news, I'm starting to think [livejournal.com profile] astonish has been eaten by the ghost of Abe Lincoln. [livejournal.com profile] scoobydumblonde's sick and I can't work out how to post chicken soup without it going mouldy before it gets to her. [livejournal.com profile] liroa15 might've gone crazy from Latin grammar or been barbequed by that giant dragon at her theatre. I think [livejournal.com profile] greeniebach's on a quest to kill EPSN. The Australians are on about a World Cup or something and [livejournal.com profile] eruantale's Labyrinth's mood icons are so shiny omg out doing something with mud and shovels again. Not to mention [livejournal.com profile] dukedee managing to freak me out about roundabouts; I've been wondering all day how it's possible to go sideways around one but I don't want to find out firsthand, really. In fact, most of my f-list is either missing or crazy lately. Is it the season or something, because I know I've been either msising or crazy lately too. ;-)

We have real, cold, November weather. Finally. GRATE YAY. :D

The rear wheels lose grip and the back of the car starts to sliiiiiiide nicely. Much like a handbrake turn, only it's unintentional. Old Asda car park's pretty good for them, especially in the wet.

o_O I can't even manage driving without the sliding. I think I'll leave the stunts to you. ;-)

Abe would never eat me! We're pals, him and I. :D It was my internet actually, it got pissy at me for some unknown reason and decided it would stop working for 48 hours. But it's back now, let's rejoice.

Ah, he just seemed the most likely suspect. ;-) Sorry Abe. I hate the internet when it decides to be pissy; I swear it does it just when we most need our daily 'net fix. Rejoice for technology deciding to work for now! :D

Argh. I don't get what kind of people run these TV channels. Are they stupid or something, to think that people honestly want such crazy scheduling? I'm lucky in that when they *do* show tennis for me, they enough sports channels that they need to waste some time and usually just put it all on for as long as possible. Though I think it helps that I like Andy and Roger mainly; my sports channels seem to love them as well, so it usually works out. I'd struggle with getting Gaston's matches too. *sighs*

*snuggles back* It's *freezing* outside. I love it. :D Warm in November is just wrong; there's meant to be frost and ice and having to wear insane amounts of layers. Good to hear your weather's going cold too; maybe this crazy warm autumn we've all been having is officially over. :D

They are on topics that are so very wide that they drive me insane. I hate when teachers are like, write on this. There's a whole chapter in the textbook, you stupid prat! And I only get 1200 words, so I'm going to have to be selective, and yet I still end up going off on tangents. *sigh*

These essays are train wrecks. Train wrecks, I say.

I would like the usual card, postcard, photos etc.. but fic would be lovely. I don't care what fandom or pairing (although it has been a while since any decent bible-slash came my way, hint hint) and either heart breaking angst or pure smut.

*grins* That sounds very doable though wow, my bible slash muses need to be dragged kicking and screaming out of whatever pit they're hiding in. :) I just hope they've been behaving themselves while I haven't been keeping an eye on them. -_- I hate to think what a bored Lucifer could've been getting up to.

Hehehe. If they prove to be too annoying, then I trust your judgement. The thing is, I doubt I'm going to be able to send you anything for Xmas. Money's just too damned tight atm....

What about heart breaking angst followed immediately by smut...
...oh, no, wait, that's the POS I'm working on, dammit.

Or smut leading to some heart breaking angst... or heart breaking angst with smut in the middle... any combination of the two work for me

That's for the new fandom you've been dragged into isn't it?

Yeah, it is. And it is the worst thing I have ever written. Possibly worse than "She Bangs."

Ummm.... I really liked She Bangs.....

Yes, maybe a little too cold. Wish we could go to a country where the temperature is 35 - 40 degrees in novermber, just for a week or something. OH WAIT! I am next week :P:P
You going to see the new Harry Potter any time soon?

Date: 2005-11-17 02:42 am (UTC)

No, the cold is fantastic! I mock you for going to your sun and dust, only to have to re-acclimatise to freezing November here when you get back. ;-) You might have a suntan in November, hee. That's so cool. ^__^ Think I'm happy with this cold though.

Yes! :D My 'rents actually remembered to get tickets, soI'm going Saturday afternoon. I can't wait!
