Nov. 16th, 2005 08:02 pmWhy is my f-list stretched to oblivion? I can't see an obvious reason and it's driving me crazy, because I can't read anything.
I bought new jeans today. I am a bad, broke student but they were *shiny*. Also, cheap. Ish. Only now I'm *really* broke. Nevermind; it's not like I need food for the next four weeks or anything. I can live on jeans. ;-)
My Long Way Round DVDs came today too. I'm thinking about having a marathon of it later while I work on either Underneath or Datta, probably Datta since I've barely thought of it yet and November's pretty much vanished. I used to be able to get 7,000 words of Halcyon done in a night; I'll see how close I can get. Have to ignore all the mad bunnies for
fanfic100 that are tearing my ankles to pieces. Too much to do and I need to stop being lazy and do it.
Really really need to actually, because I'm very broke this year and I hit on a shiny idea for Christmas presents. Anyone I'd usually be sending presents to -
liroa15,
scoobydumblonde,
mercury32 and so on - would you be happy with fic instead? Anything up to around the 4,000/5,000 word mark probably, any pairing and any fandom that you know I know well enough to write, any particulars you want and such. I can send cards and probably little things but Christmas is beginning to loom like a horrible hole in my shrinking funds. *sighs* So, fic? I'd offer Photoshop stuff too but I'm pretty much happy to do that whenever, even if it does sometimes take a little while. ;-)
In f-list news, I'm starting to think
astonish has been eaten by the ghost of Abe Lincoln.
scoobydumblonde's sick and I can't work out how to post chicken soup without it going mouldy before it gets to her.
liroa15 might've gone crazy from Latin grammar or been barbequed by that giant dragon at her theatre. I think
greeniebach's on a quest to kill EPSN. The Australians are on about a World Cup or something and
eruantale's Labyrinth's mood icons are so shiny omg out doing something with mud and shovels again. Not to mention
dukedee managing to freak me out about roundabouts; I've been wondering all day how it's possible to go sideways around one but I don't want to find out firsthand, really. In fact, most of my f-list is either missing or crazy lately. Is it the season or something, because I know I've been either msising or crazy lately too. ;-)
We have real, cold, November weather. Finally. GRATE YAY. :D

Date: 2005-11-16 08:49 pm (UTC)The rear wheels lose grip and the back of the car starts to sliiiiiiide nicely. Much like a handbrake turn, only it's unintentional. Old Asda car park's pretty good for them, especially in the wet.

Date: 2005-11-17 02:37 am (UTC)*snuggles back* It's *freezing* outside. I love it. :D Warm in November is just wrong; there's meant to be frost and ice and having to wear insane amounts of layers. Good to hear your weather's going cold too; maybe this crazy warm autumn we've all been having is officially over. :D
