So I'm watching GalaxyQuest to cheer myself up. There's nothing quite like watching the whole-StarTrek-genre get the piss ripped out of it to make you smile.

What was this post for? Um. Oh! Everyone who's given me their fic links for PS, I've got them, thank you all *so* much. You're making my life a billion times easier. :D

I have a why-Andy-really-isn't-playing-TMC bunny gnawing through my ankle. I can't pay attention to it. I have to finish Underneath sometime if I'm actually going to start working on Datta for NaNo.

Damn bunnies.

I'm pretty much giving up on the making-50,000-words thing. I was waaaaay optimistic when I thought I could do it this month. ;-) I'm hoping I can finish Datta for it though, and use NaNo as a sort of a kick in the behind to get me going.

Heh, I'll have more fun re-reading after it's all done. ;-) I love a newly updated PS. I always find so much fic that I'd forgotten.

Honestly, I've thought about it. I'd love to make 50,000 words, but I don't know if it's possible with the way I've set my fic up. I may have climaxed too soon... I'll have to have a second build up and... ergh.

*grins* I cannot believe how many fics you didn't have up of mine. *whimpers* You know you're evil, right? ;-)

I don't know if Datta will make it but I was planning to start on the next one to make up to gap... now I guess I'll be happy with finishing Datta. :) And if the fic naturally ends before 50,000 words, it might do more harm than good to make it longer? Though you could always do that nifty little trick of separating it into parts, and the second part could go off in a slightly different direction or have a jump in time or something? After a five-star-rated author told me last night that he completely 'fudged' a lot of the details in his second book, I think pretty much anything goes in novel writing. ;-)

I know I concentrated on trying to catch up with the TR fics in the last update - not to mention trying to work out the set-up for their separate pages ;-) - and I haven't updated for at least a month and a half, possibly two months so that's probably why. I know I'm even more behind on some. *sighs*

I want Datta so badly at this point. You've been teasing me with it for... hell, forever! Since... my god, since like May at least.

My fic is actually working. It was a tiny climax and there's a bigger one to come I'm sure. And if there's no climax after the first one, well, my story will just suck. :-) I'm going to do my best to get to the 50000 word mark. I'm already past 20000 so... I think I'll be able to do it. :-)

I remember you saying something like that... but I've figured out the easiest way to do it. I'm going to tag all of the fics since the update I posted that I post and that way, you or I will only have to click on that tag to find any fics that haven't been added between this update and the next update. :-)
