Oh I love this song. If a million other things didn't currently own my soul, this song would. The directors on the commentary said it wasn't one of Queen's best known songs but it's the one I always think of in association with them. And We Are the Champions of course, which is *going* to have tennis fic written for it as soon as I find time.

This is a GIP, pretty much. Because I couldn't not. I was making the icon, wondering what to put on it with The Simpsons episode where Bart and Lisa organise Krusty's come-back show playing in the background and Bette Midler burst into Wing Beneath My Wings on it just as I thought "Now what font to put?" It was fate. Which just proves that fate is extremely cheesy but very helpful when you're stuck making icons.

I have successfully done nothing tonight, other than meet D from college in the bar and chatted for a while. University hasn't eaten him alive yet, so all is good. :)
