I burned some villagers and made some gingerbread. Not from the villagers I mean, because, ew. From flour and treacle etc. Feeling more cheerful than after the Dire News of earlier. Was helped by deciding to take a page from Andy's Mojo's book and go for some 'new haberdashery'. Saw a gorgeous skirt today for about as much as a train ticket to Cardiff would've cost, so I'm soothing my pain with that tomorrow. That and the thought that I could go down to Cardiff for my birthday weekend and make my brother take me to Hard Rock Cafe and to see Serenity then. :) All is not lost.

Ficcing now. Think I've got what my muses were angsting over sorted. Will see how it goes.

that I work at a theatre. And therefore will probably get to see Serenity for free. But maybe not, because we may not get it... but we do have the poster.
