I grovel at the feet of people I promised fic to yesterday, because I forgot it was Wednesday and I was going to rainy_roz's dinner party. Saying I went to a dinner party makes me feel old and boring. Then I remember that the conversation covered flying midgets, turning rainy_roz's house into a nightclub and deciding hill2k's new nickname is 'Wiggles' which makes me feel a little less old and a little more crazy. So yesterday was pretty much a wake-up-get-ready-go-to-dinner-party-come-home-fall-asleep-in-front-of-Lost day. I am so glad I've already seen the first season of it, so I don't have to play too much attention to follow what's going on.

The same cannot be said for House which I'm still on the first series of - doesn't help that I *missed* the first half of the series either - and am unlikely to be getting the second any time soon, knowing the UK. ALL YOU PEOPLE GETTING IT NOW, STOP MOCKING ME WITH YOUR COUNTRY'S SUPERIOR TELEVISION SCHEDULE DAMMIT.

Yes. Bitter. Watching House without me. Gggrrr.

On the plus side, it is the first show ever that I can read spoilers for beforehand and still enjoy it as much, just for the pure snark. So, tiny silver lining.

Going to finish fic now, then go comment on all the fic I missed because of Halo, and then I'm going to write my BPC fic until I pass out on my keyboard. I *will* finish it by the weekend, or at least a rough draft. Still don't know if I'm going down to Cardiff to see Serenity, so I have to have it ready to send before the deadline anyway.

I loved House too, but at boarding school, we have to be in the dorms at 10 PM, which is when it starts. So I never get to watch it anymore, and we can be mocked together. boo hiss.

I'm torn between sympathy for fellow House deprivation and horror at a 10pm curfew. That's... that's... *10pm*! That's practically *afternoon*. Wow. o_O

But yes, House deprivation. :( The world is cruel.

Well, it's not really curfew. The dorms are split into two parts, a girl half and guy half, and 10 PM means that we have to be on our gender half. And then we can do anything, really, as long as we stay in our room for room checks at 10:30.

House is such a good show. I want it back.

I guess that's not so bad then. I was speechless at the thought of not getting to do anything after 10, since that's pretty much when I get everything done. :)

It's so good. *sighs* I'm still getting the first series but I've seen the last few episodes so I've only got about two or three 'new' ones left to watch and then I have no idea when we'll be getting the second series. We shouldn't be deprived of such good TV. S'not good for our stress levels.

...This is the part where I hide and say I didn't finish. *hides* Working on it though. I'll be going through the Andy/Roger stuff mainly I think. :) Since I still don't really know what half the others look like.
