... because although I feel like I should've been in bed hours ago, there's something hypnotic about capping, this shot, that shot, every shot...

(Was I the only one looking to spot Andy's name on it?)

I couldn't figure Roger out at first. He looked almost casual about the whole winning thing, happy sure but not his usual Grand-Slam happy. Brief worry that he was getting too comfortable about winning - then I started capping the after-match bits and noticed the tears in his eyes when he sat down, how much he giggled and bounced during his interview, how big and goofy his grin was at times and yeah, he really was happy. I guess with the crowd so for Andre and with how much he respects Andre - which was obvious from the interviews after - that maybe he just wasn't bursting-into-tears-falling-down happy.

Still, the part of his interview where he thanked everyone "backstage" could've been lifted from Cincy and he looked happier to be handed the Lexus car keys than the million dollar cheque. Though of course, he's a man so that's understandable. (They showed a shot of Mirka and I think she looked happier about the million dollars. ^__^) But I don't think there's ever been a question that Roger wouldn't win this, not since Andy went out in the first round, and I think that may've got into his head, just a little, to the point where he was expecting this. I don't know; don't know what he's thinking right now. Other than about when he gets to drive his new Lexus. I just feel this one didn't mean quite so much as Wimbledon, or last year, or maybe as it should have.

And now I really am going to bed because it's been a long day and I'm still not 100%. Better than earlier, much, but not quite there.

Hhhmm. So much to do.

Clo

wow. that is some major winner hotness.

Roger is so cute. Sometimes when he talks and stuff, I still feel like he's 10, that's how adorable it is. Even looking at those caps makes me squeal AWWW. I'm glad he won. And Mirka's beautiful. I want their life dammit.

*nods* He deserved to be capped for being so hot. ^__^

I love his interviews and stuff off-court, 'cause he is so young and cheerful and cute. :) The one where he knew he was on the big screen and did a little wave for the camera made me especially go "Awww!" He is adorable. And it must be nice to be them. *wistful* A million dollars *and* a brand new Lexus, all for winning a few games of tennis.

He is so adorable, seriously fo sho. His interviews are awesome, because sometimes I get a feeling that he wants to say something else and can't find the right words, but the ones that come out are just amazing enough that the original thoughts don't matter.

I want that car. I want to ride with Roger in that car!

I read yesterday that the Swiss are the happiest people in the world and I think that's exactly what I love about Roger - in his interviews, he has this naturally happy, bubbly personality that's just so adorable. He doesn't suck up to the press or skip around the fact he's so good, he's just honest all the time and I love him for it. ^__^

It is a *nice* car. *sighs* Insanely expensive, but *nice*.

I wish I could watch Roger rollin' with the homies in the Lexus.

Well Roger had to have fallen in love with him at some point, so he must've had non-sucky qualities once. ;-) I'm clinging to the fact that there's still a month and a half of the tennis year left for him to redeem himself for us. Not that I'll get to *watch* any of it in Lancaster, but it'd still be nice not to die of stress in front of ANdy's live scores for once.

I squee-ed like crazy when he waved. ^__^ It was so cute! And she deserves the whole million for going to *every* one of his matches, even though he always wins. Not to mention how pretty she's looked these last two weeks. :)

All adorable, especially the third one...except that Agassi's hand is dangerously close to Roger's ass in the first one. Hands off, baldy! He's taken!

*giggles* I love that third one. He looks like he's contemplating Philosophy or at least something deep and meaningful. I was glad to see that Roger kept his hands to himself this time - I don't imagine that Andy would've been happy. ;-D
