Had far too much sleep over the last couple of days. I'm starting to twitch. Especially since I have the bizarrest dreams when I sleep for a long time. o_O Night before last, there was this whole epic about teams of people involving Roger Federer, Hagrid, some people from Lost I think, racing each other to travel around the world. I almost lost my camera in what was either Switzerland or Alaska, not sure which is was - it was pretty - and got attacked by crickets in some rainforest. Hagrid and Boone built a boat in a rainforest too, though everyone tried to explain to them that the sea was miles away. They said they wanted to live it in. Huh. And last night... I think I was a spy in some sort of school, because I was spying on people in suits doing paperwork.
The trip around the world was more fun. Except for the crickets. Ick.
And in news of
Nemesis has been AWOL recently, whether because I haven't been getting out of bed early enough to see him or, as I accused the Man, because of Dire Squirrel-cide. The Man denied all knowledge of such, but pointed out that since failure to show up at the battlefield can be considered running away, then I should declare him the winner in Man vs Squirrel. To which I said "Never!" And moved the bird feeder that attracted Nemesis in the first place back down the garden when the Man wasn't looking.
Because all is fair in War and Squirrels. Hah.
And, sure enough, yesterday I actually happened to glance out the window with the camera on hand... and there is was! Squirrel! Unfortunately he was just leaving, so I only grabbed the quickest of pictures but it's proof Nemesis is still fighting back.

Have to run now because I'm meeting
kitten_von_mew - returned from the Land of Guinness briefly - for coffee in an hour and I'm not ready. But in fic news, I finally know exactly what and how my BPC fic is going to go and both Underneath and Datta are screaming to be written, finally. So the muses are working again, all of which is good.
And even better, Kim won the US Open. *happy sigh* Andy should be taking notes, poor boy. Though his note was adorable.
And gave me plotbunnies. Damn you Andy.
Back later,
Clo
