... Straight sets. Three tie-breaks. His favourite tournament.

On his birthday.

I'm going to go and work on Halo now, since I promised to have it up tonight.

It's horrible. So sad. And on his *birthday*. I'm going to cry. Now who's going to play Federer in the finals? Luxemburg guy? I think not.

And er, um, hi, you don't know me, but I saw Roddick and Federer play in the finals at Wimbledon and thought 'wow they are so totally in love' and my friends laughed. Then I did a random Livejournal search. Then I came here. And you are my new favorite person I don't know. Awkwardness.

But poor, poor Andy. I say it's those mojo commercials. They jinxed him dammit. *cries*

Well, at least the Americans got some revenge when Ginepri knocked out Muller, so he definitely won't be in the final, not that it helps Andy much now. I just hope it's not Hewitt in the final; last year was... dull, beyond belief. Lleyton could've sat down for a rest mid-game and he'd have been winning more points. In my opinion, Andy's the only one who might've beaten Roger in the final this year. *sighs*

Ah Wimbledon. *loves* The 2004 final was what got me into tennis slash, so I always love to hear that other people are being brought in by Wimbledon too. :) I'm glad we were here to be found this time though. I got a little desperate last year when search after search brought up barely a sign that tennis slash was even possible. It's great to be found, awkwardness or not. :)

They really did. American Express needs to *stop* putting him in commercials like that, because I think they've jinxed him for Wimbledon too with the last lot. Andy'll come back and keep getting better though, regardless of this. I think he's smart enough to put it behind him.

It hurt so much to see his lost like this...

This is his birthday! He deserves much better than this crap...

And I think it's that mojo thing too, coz it was in my mind during the whole match. *sigh*

Clo, don't work yourself too hard. With a tragedy like this, we need to find sometime and grief for a moment. *crying*

It really did. Even third, fourth round, against someone *good* but this...

It never ocurred to me he could lose on his birthday. Usually, playng on birthdays seems to give the players a boost. He did deserve better.

I felt guilty for loving the commercials so much before he lost. I thought they were funny and then, all of a sudden, they just seem horribly ironic. *sighs*

Ah don't worry. ^__^ I never work too hard. I think it's taken me a few days to get over Andy losing though. :(
