0-2 to Youzhny.

Andy, don't you DARE lose to a guy whose name I can't even spell. Don't you dare.

EDIT: Oh god he's about to lose the first set. OhshitAndy. You're supposed to be facing Roger in the finals, don't you *dare* do this.

EDIT: YEARS OFF MY LIFE HERE RODDICK.

*clings to her coffee mug* One game, just one more game dammit...

EDIT: Jesus. Who else wants to fly to Cincinnati and give Andy a good kick for that horrible hour and half? -_-

*clears throat* WHAT ARE YOU DOING WATCHING ANDY WHEN YOU SHOULD BE WRITING HALO???

Don't threaten him! He always loses when we threaten him!

Are you kidding? How could I NOT be watching these scores?! *stresses* Plus I'm writing Halo inbetween swearing at Andy. ;-)

I know, I know. It's so hard when all you want to do is hit him with his own damn racquet though.

Fine. Everyone else gets fic anyhow... *smirks* You'll just never know what Rogi got for his birthday.... :-PPPP

I know. You can yell and scream after the match!

*wails* Stupid muses. Stupid fic.

He deserves threatening after that first set. The brat. *glares at him* Ten years off my life, gone from the stress.

*dangles fic temptingly*

:-P No he doesn't! When you threaten Andy, he crumbles under the pressure! We need to coax and cajole him into winning... then we can yell and smack him around. ;-)

*wails louder* I'm so not going to finish this tonight. I might finish the smut but then there's a complicated conversation and angst and I'm not going to be awake enough by that point to get it right. >_< It's too long. Stupid fic. *kicks it*

He's won, so now can we kick him? The livescores for that first set were just horrible.

*giggles* Not my problem! You have to write the fic before you can get any of my fic! *dangles fic more*

Yes, of course you can! *pets him* I'm just glad he won... now he has to beat Lleyton... *whimpers* which he'd better do because dammit! I get the final on Sunday and if I don't get to see Andy/Roger final I will smack both of them!

I don't get this match at all until tomorrow. (My tennis coverage was *awful* today, I don't know why.) But he's doing so much better now! So close! *crosses fingers*

Oooo, I can't wait to see that tomorrow. And hah Youzhny, that'll teach you to hit balls at our Andy. *sticks her tongue out at him* Maybe that;s the secret; just piss Andy off and he'll beat you. :) Me too. It was horribl when I first looked at the scores and saw he was already 0-2 down.

Thankfully I didn't have to see that match live. ESPN was too busy showing Russian little league baseball, the bastards. What is with Andy and all these close matches? I think I might be growing gray hair from all the stress.

I still can't decide if livescores are better or worse than watching the matches themselves. At least watching the match, you can see *why* someone is losing instead of numbers just ticking up... but then, with Andy, I'd mostly rather *not* see why he's losing.

All I can say is, he'd better get his act together for Lleyton today. I *want* that Andy/Roger final. Not to mention it'd be wonderful for Andy to finally beat Lleyton. I have a feeling it's going to be another grey-hair sort of match though. :-\

You do have a point. I think watching the matches themselves is better for anyone except Andy, I can pretty much guess how he's playing by livescores. But hey, at least all these three-setters show that Andy can actually stick in there. I'd begun to think that if he didn't win the first set he just gave up, but he's proved me wrong multiple times at Cincy.

I'm not entirely optimistic about the Hewitt match. After watching them play in the Australian Open, I was kind of like "...well, hope Andy never has to play him again." But then Lleyton has been playing sort of ... off this week, so maybe Andy has a chance.
