A brief note on the awards; in some categories we had a tie, either for first place or the runner up. For these, we awarded all the fics that tied the 1st place/ runner up award, and then, in the cases where there was more than one first place, awarded the next in line the runner up place. This is why some categories have more than one winner or runner up. :)

If you want to know by what percentage or number of votes you won/lost - and there were some *very* close calls - ask liroa15 before asking me, since they are technically her awards. :) Or if she says it's okay, I'll be happy to tell people.

Okay, onto the banners... and this is the only awards we'll be having a different banner design for each category, because there's no way I could do this again. Next year it'll be one design for everything. :)

*giggles* Only probably?! Though trust me, any live tennis is just *awesome*, so even Agassi will be worth watching. If you get bored, just watch the crowd opposite you - their heads really *do* go back and to, following the ball .*giggles* That's good, since I spent most of Wimbledon wishing you and scoobydumblonde and all the tennis slashers were there to appreciate it with me. *snuggles* One day, we'll all go together.

I have plans to get tickets for the Tuesday matches, I'm just hoping I can get the order of play at the stadium on Monday.

Hhhmm, I'd have thought you'd be able to, if you're going to the night match... though if you can't, maybe your hotel has 'net access you can use? If you can't get anything, I'd say go for the Tuesday night match... you'll be likely to get Rafa or Andy, so a 50/50 chance of Carlos is something. :)

Because I don't like 50/50 I just bought tickets to both events on line and I'll pick 'em up at the box office. Now I can't miss Carlos and sister will be happy. So will I, as I also get the Juanqui vs. Guille match and Andy's match.

Did ocur to me that maybe we should have a 'Best Overall' fic though, like 'Best Picture' in the Oscars? Just so there's a category where people can nominate *anything* they liked, no matter what it was? Hhhmm. But that's next year. ;-)
