Was meant to be going into town today, to buy dad a birthday card and - finally - drop the Wimbledon photos off to get developed among other things, nothing really important. Have absolutely no money in my wallet now, so I dug up enough change for the bus, meaning to get money out the bank in town. Got two stops up the road on the bus, realised I didn't have my bank book with me, I had no money on my card and not enough change to get home again if I actually got to town. So, feeling like an idiot, I mumbled an excuse and walked back home again. *sighs* Which kinda took the fun out of the whole idea of going, so I gave up and worked on award banners instead, since I want to get them finished for tonight.

Few questions though - greeniebach, is the Darker Days series "The Darker Days of Me and Him" or just "Darker Days of Me and Him'?

liroa15, when they're done, do you want me to email you *all* of them, including mine, and if so, to just the normal email yeah?

Dammit, there was something else. *ponders* Nope, it's gone. Oh wait; liroa15, are we having one post with all the banners in, to direct people to if they want to see everyone who won, and if yes, do you want to do it or me?

And an unrelated request, I owe ebay_pierre an LJ banner and I want to do a Carlos one, but I have hardly any Carlos pictures. So, does anyone have any good pictures of him? Pwetty pwease? :)

And I discovered why I was hating Halo so much and am in the process of rewriting that part. Once I'm past it, it should all be plain sailing, so it may even be up later on.

Okay, off to finish banners and then answer comments and fb and such. *sighs* May as well accomplish *something*, since clearly going into town and successfully coming home again is beyond me. *rolls eyes*

EDIT: Also? This green is driving me crazy. It's going to disappear any minute into something simple, just until I have time to do something prettier.

EDIT2: Better. Boring grey, but at least it's not green. It'll do for a few days, 'till I have more time.

EDIT3: Except I just changed my default icon and now the width's gone funny. *sighs* I give up. *kicks LJ*

Honestly, I love the grey and how it looks like this. Sometimes, the simpler the better.

Anyway, I'm eagerly waiting for the fic! Guess I'll have to wait a little more *sits with a bowl of popcorns and waits*

*nods* Green was hurting my eyes too. Even white was too bright, so I went for a darker grey. *giggles at the ikea porn connections* When I started highlighting my own entries to read them, I realised it was probably time to get rid of the green. ^__^ And I love that picture, to the point where I seem to use it in *everything* but it's just so damn pretty. *pets it*

Don't worry. I know what it's like being on the wrong computer for all your pictures and fic. Nothing more irritating. *nods*

I meant to say - it just got here this morning! All the slash awards and fic madness distracted me. *snuggles* It's so cute, and made me very smiley indeed. :D *pets the pretty snail mail and snuggles you some more*

*giggles* Technically, you're more right than us. Gray was the old spelling, which went across the ocean with the people who colonised American, while back here, the spelling evolved to grey. You're usuing the original. *nods* And there was a dull bit of English history for you. *giggles some more* And while the highlighting is no more, the small will probably remain. *pets it* I have a small font fixation. ^__^

Was having an old chatet (chat) with russell last night and am meeting him and chris, hopefully jamie and dee can go too, on monday to play some old school tennis in wrexham.
