But I'm really not that bored, or bored at all in fact. I've got a ton of stuff to do but ended up tidying my room this morning anyway, because it was awful. I think it's 'cause I cleaned Gonzo and Rizzo out for the first time in ages yesterday and their tank was so clean, it made the rest of the room look bad. It's nice not to have to move a heap of clothes every time I want to sit down.

I think I've caught the crazy reading bug again. I've gone through American Gods, Harry Potter 6 and the first third of Memoirs of a Geisha in a week. Which may be why I haven't done much else, but it's been fun. Now I actually have to start catching up on all the fic I'm so behind with. >_< Which is a lot. Not to mention award banners, of which I've finished five out of... sixteen. Yeah. And I just found out I have to apply online for the M&S job, get phone interviewed twice - which'll be fun, since I talk too fast - and then see if they like me. On the plus side, this does mean I probably won't have a job for at least this week. On the downside, it does mean if I get it, I'll probably start just as all the tennis starts. Woe.

Realised today that I don't think any of our college have been paid their room deposits back yet, and the college woman wasn't there when I called. If she's finished for the summer and run off with all our money, serious ass-kicking will take place... Okay, slight exaggeration but we'll probably protest or something. If it doesn't involve us getting out of bed too early. Because, students, y'know.

Brother has come to the rescue and has told us how to connect the DVD recorder up, so I'm going to pester the 'rental to do it tomorrow before he goes to work. :D Much awesomeness will be had with the recordable shininess.

... Think that's really all the non-events that have happened today. I swear I'm just wandering aimlessly and fuzzily through my summer right now. At least the weather was gorgeously cool and overcast today. :D I've never been so happy to see proper rain.

Hhhmm. I think I want some tea.

EDIT: Roger's newsletter was possibly the cutest thing I've ever read. No one should be that cute. I finished it with the strangest urge to attach myself to his knees and gibber incoherently about how adorable he is. Hence why that much cuteness is bad. It'll get you arrested.

Mmmm. It was good tea.

I pronounce it the 'normal' way, ie. "skon". However I have friends who pronounce it 'sc-hone' and they will equally swear that's the normal way to say it. Mostly the 'skon' people just nod and smile and giggle when they aren't looking. ;-)

And that was probably one of the most random questions I've been asked at 2am. *blinks*

It was midnight here, though. It's ok, though, I was just wondering because someone called me from a coffeeshop.
