Did I mention before that I'd ordered a DVD recorder? I may have not done, but anyway, I did after managing to talk the parentals into paying half. I'm not really sure how, I think the words 'the entire Sky box won't be filled with tennis anymore' were mentioned. So I ordered a shiny DVD recorder, bought recordable DVDs and waited...

... and it was just delivered. Which means o'f-list, one thing and one thing only.

High quality any screencaps in fact; it's just a matter of recording something on DVD, sticking the disc into the computer and capping it. Not that this is the only reason I stretched my poor bank account to paying for it of course. I also want the 'rents to record the tennis for me while I'm in uni and post the discs to me, heh. Unfortunately, we've hit one tiny snag...

... connecting it is proving something of a challenge.

So we've done what any sensible people would do - leave the front room in a mess of wires and instructions until we can ring my brother for help tonight. And then... Wimbledon final on DVD! *falls over in glee* And you can make chapters and record anything so I could have an entire DVD just full of Andy-Roger interviews or anything and...

... I'm in a happy place right now. I just hope we can connect the damn thing.

Right, I need breakfast before I do anything now. DVD recorder!! Eeeee!!! *dances*

Work?! Who needs work when there's tennis to be watched! ;-) Though I guess there'll be nothing much from late November till early January, so it might not distract us too much. Except then we can watch repeats of all the summer stuff I'm going to record. ;-)

Don't know yet, auntie's friend hasn't been able to talk to her supervisor yet. And Colin is driving me nuts. Every time I think a text-conversation is finished, he starts up another one! He did text me saying 'Have you read HP 6 yet?' exactly as I finished it though, which was very spooky.

I know. But it'll get you lots of pretty screencaps of the boys, with no getty images logo in sight. And since I've had no video recorder for the last year or so, I have no recorded tennis at all so I have a lot of catching up to do.

Well, I'll have them if I can make the recorder work. Woe for my technological ineptness. And chapters? First I'll have to work out how to *make* chapters, which might be... interesting.
