WTF?

*stares in bemusement at the rash on her hands* Oh come on, you can't hate the Lush handcream. I've been using it for almost a week now and you've loved it. WTF? Though maybe it's something to do with the henna... I, in all my wisdom, decided that no, I could do it without rubber gloves should've learnt my lesson when I turned my hands orange last time and I don't think my hands were best pleased. My palms were the colour of Rafa's shirt for a while, you know the luminous orange one? None tennis fans, think of those guys at the airport who wave brightly coloured paddles to guide the planes in - I wouldn't have needed the paddles. Thankfully it's washed off a little.

*yawns* I was hoping to get somewhere with fic but nope, apparently not. It's moving along, but slower than I'd like. Since I'm actually getting my ass in gear and doing a little work now, perhaps I'll be organised enough tomorrow to get through it and post it. *touch wood* If I'm organised, I should have plenty of time to fic. If. I have the final two parter episode of Lost to watch as bribery if I'm good though, so I'm at least *planning* on behaving.

Talked to K earlier, after bumping into her unexpectedly on my lets-not-do-any-work walk. Talked about her going to Australia next year. *sighs* Am bitterly regretting my decision to not try and make Canada work... looking at the next two years right now, all I see is the same-old, same-old, only with a lot more work thrown in. So I'd have been broke when I got back but... I think it'd have been worth it. Goddamit for realising these things months too late. -_- She also mentioned the price of flights to Oz dips down to £500 or so in September... and suddenly I was *very* tempted. I could go for a month, see her, see everyone else over there... not gonna happen but just for a second, a brief second... I really could've been going to Australia this summer.

Then she mentioned the 26 hour flight and I almost passed out from shock. I think when I go, I'm going to have to stop overnight or for a few days somewhere. Because damn, that's a long time.

But anyway, right now I need to get some sleep in this country. *yawns* Getting up early every day is just not good for me.

Night!

Long flights are pretty hard, actually, sleeping on planes is horrifying. When I flew to Italy, it was overnight, and I COULD NOT find a comfortable position. (but there were cute Italian boys nearby!) Stopping over's a good idea, but flying is kinda uncomfortable regardless, and overnight flights just seem shorter than day ones. If you're going to stop, stay for a few days somewhere, don't just stop overnight. If you're going to spend the money, you might as well see something else exciting too.

*hugs you* Sleep!

I get twitchy after three hours or so on a plane, so I have a feeling I'm going to be reduced to incoherent squeaking by the time I actually get to Australia. >_< (Though cute Italian boys would definitely help!) My flatmate has an hour stopover in Dubai, which of course is Roger's favourite playground and I'd love to stop there for a few days. Or anywhere really, since I love seeing new places. ^__^

*hugs back* Sleep is good. ^__^

I love flying, actually, but I flew to Italy in March, and it was pretty uncomfortable overnight. But I went with friends, so it wasn't as bad (even though WTF my dad came too). Stopping over is really nice, actually, once we stopped in Austria and it was lovely.

Cute Italian boys are wonderful. When I was in Italy, everyone was so beautiful! There was this one boy working in a cafe, and he was so hot that we all took pictures of him and with him. And we never found out his name, so we just decided to call him Paolo.

Sleep is good, especially for busy people like you. *covers you in a blanket*
