I had Lost playing in thebackground while I did the forms...

Oh god this episode had me in tears. It was so beautifully constructed that the shot of him in a wheelchair came as a complete shock, yet it all made sense. I love that the wheelchair itself had been showing up periodically throughout previous episodes, just enough that you didn't have to wonder where it had come from until... oh wow. And I fell completely into their trap of believing he was something more sinister and yet all the little hints from previous episodes suddenly made sense. *sniffles* And that no one knew except him... Clever episode, very clever.

Smart of them to balance the burning of the fuselage against such a beautifully 'feel-good' personal story. This episode hit the spot-on perfect balance, happiness, sadness, mystery with the suit-man and how Locke got away from the invisible monster. Amazing.

Still want them to explain that goddamn polar bear though.

If you haven't seen this show yet, go watch it. It's seriously incredible.

*goes back to doing forms with the next episode playing in the background*
