Been shopping all day. -_- Spent horrendous amounts of money. Just managed to waste a piece of transfer paper because I forgot to take the backing paper off before trying to attach it. Can you say 'idiot'? *sighs* On the plus side have acquired many pretty things and managed to catch the highlights of the tennis I missed all day. Which unfortunately, did not make me happy.

Andy lost. I was all set to kick him solidly until Wimbledon until they showed a brief clip from his press conference... and he looked and sounded so utterly devastated, that I just couldn't do it. He sounded pretty close to tears, I think and I just couldn't be mad at him anymore. *snuggles* Even though I wanted him to move back up to #2 and set up a possible Wimbledon final with Roger and don't you all dare mock my wishful thinking, because I would probably sell all my worldly possessions for another Andy/Roger Wimbledon final. Except the laptop, since I'd need that to write fic about it after. I don't know how it'll work now... I guess if they met in the quarters or the semis it'd still be good just... the final. *sighs*

But I finally had a caramel macchiato and I ended up sitting by a lady from Canada on the bus who couldn't believe how narrow our roads were. *grins* So, today hasn't been all bad. Except I have to pack for tomorrow morning and I'm supposed to have done my loan forms by tomorrow and I haven't even looked at them and...

... you may not hear from me again until tomorrow night. Gah! Where did my two weeks go dammit?!!

If your roads are anything like the roads in Japan, and I have the sneaking suspicion they are, you do have bloody narrow roads. *grumbles*

*giggles* Well us and Japan, we only have room for really narrow roads. If we have wide ones, the country'd be just be covered in tarmac with the occasional mountain rising up like an island in a sea of road. ;-)

Wouldn't be so bad. Two way street should have room for cars to go both ways with cars parked on both sides. So, in recap, residential streets should be at least 4 cars wide.

*ponders* Nope, ours generally have room for only one car with two cars parked on either side. In fact, we swear at great length at anyone who parks their car directly opposite another parked car because it makes it so hard to get past. *grins*

Narrow roads!!! In Japan there was room for two cars. It was insane. We'd call that an alley!

*giggles* Generally we have room for three, just about. Except the county lanes where there's barely room for one and you have to sound the horn going round corners in case you crash into someone coming the opposite way. *snickers* Tell you what, we'll buy half of Canada off you and use the extra space for wider roads. *giggles*

*shakes head* Your poor drivers. Sure, you can have the snowy, icy half. Don't worry, you'll learn winter driving real fast.

*giggles* Ah, it makes life interesting (except for if you drive like me and crash into the kerb every three seconds.) And YAY!! SNOW!! *dances* Ah winter driving, pfft. Who cares about skidding and crashing when you have snow!! :-D

I'm sure it's an 'interesting' most of them could do without. Ah, you poor naive girl. You shall soon see.
