Teh awesome!
May. 25th, 2005 09:11 pmThe Story of Why Clo Should Never Need Change for the Bus:
Wandering through town earlier, pondering the pretty of clothes and books and DVDs, I restrained myself admirably all the way through New Look and Waterstones. Until I realised I needed change for the bus and wandered into Smith's to buy a pen or something small.
Walked out ten minutes later with a pack of dark t-shirt Inkjet transfer paper. Then proceeded to find and acquire two black t-shirts. Came home cackling gleefully and spent a few hours designing on Photoshop.
Am now the proud owner of a Roger Federer t-shirt.
And yes, family is mocking me for it. *sticks her tongue out at them* They'll mock me even more when I get another top tomorrow to make an Andy one.
Have every intention of wearing it, and the Andy one too when I make it. Have discovered the joy of designing my own clothes... the world should be afraid. *snickers*
So that's really the most interesting thing I've done today. *ponders* Bought shoes. Cackled a little more over how awesomely cheap they were. Felt a little guilty that I can't actually *see* Gonzo and Rizzo anymore because their water's so dirty but not quite guilty enough to clean their tank out yet. Realised that I go back to Lancaster in less than two days and I have done absolutely nothing in the way of revision yet. Panicked briefly. Decided to go back to designing t-shirts.
So really, not exactly the most exciting of days. ^__^ Though Henman getting a warning for swearing amused me; I thought he was too civilised and, well... British though so am I and I swear every other word some days to do something like that. Everyone else did spiffy though, so they're good boys today. *pets them* I'm just sad I'm going to miss Nadal-Gasquet because I'll be going back to Lancaster. *sighs sadly* Oh well. I'm certainly doing no work at home, so it's about time I went back.
Okay, going to wash hair and get sorted before I sit down and attempt to get through all the fic-commetning I should've done over the last day or so. Mmmm. It makes me wish it was my birthday already though also not in a way, since then I'll no longer be a teenager and it'll be depressing.
Later,
Clo

Date: 2005-05-25 11:06 pm (UTC)I know! I had to rewind it to listen to the commentators talking about it again before I'd believe it. I'm... disappointed but resigned I guess. I never expect him to get much past the second round now. *sighs* We suck so much at sport.
I was meant to do millions of things during this break and I don't think any of it happened. *sighs* Oh well. I must've accomplished something, though I don't know what. ^__^
