I know we don't really like Agassi, okay me less than the rest of you it seems though he's still not exactly on my christmas card list but... He's in real pain out there now and he's still trying to finish the match without painkillers or calling the trainer. He's limping across the court. He really deserves credit for not just throwing the match.

Though it's hard to watch. *winces* I hope I never have to see a player I adore do this.

He has a lot of class. We don't like to admit it sometimes, but he really does.

I really hope I never have to sit through that with Andy or Roger. I don't think I could watch.

He was all set to win then early in the fourth set something happened to his hip - the commentators thought it was an old injury since he seemed to know as soon as it happened that there was no point even calling the trainer. He could either stick it out for a set and a half to finish the match or quit... and he kept going. He looked practically in tears at the breaks between games. Never thought I'd say this but I really wanted to give him a hug.

If it was that hard to watch a player I don't even like limp painfully through almost two sets, I can't even imagine what it'd be like to watch someone I like do it. I don't think I could watch. And he looked really sad... he might deserve a little petting. Just a tiny bit. ;-)
