Going to cook dinner an hour or so ago, discovered that neither of our fridges were working. Me and K tried pulling one out, unplugging it and plugging it back in but nothing, so complained to the porter. Was advised to pull them both out again and try a hairdryer in the plug socket. Much fridge shifting later, decided that neither plug socket worked at all and called the porter again. So now he's coming up to fix the plug sockets. *sighs* Always one thing or another.

On the plus side when I went down to the porter's, I checked my post and dukedee's CDs had arrived. ^__^ Yay! Will listen to them while I fic after the porter's gone.

Stupid fridges. I swear the electrics in this flat have gone nuts since we got back. -_-

Discovered a little while ago that the freezers had decided to break too and I'm pretty sure the porter hasn't shown up yet. Some frantic rearranging of the kitchen and we've now got both fridges and both freezers plugged into working sockets... though it's made our kitchen a maze of appliances. *sighs*

Much craziness. I think it's part of living in a student flat. ^__^

It's... interesting. (The fire alarm a little while ago was pushing it a little bit though. -_- It's bloody cold outside.) At least we can definitely say life is never dull around here. ^__^ And my flatmates are surprisingly sane when compared to the Inmates. ^__^

Ah we're used to it. Now fire alarms at 4am, those I could do without. ;-) It's worth it though. And very true. We are kinda hard to measure up to. ;-D

*giggles* It is much better now - the fire alarms were faulty in the first couple of weeks, so they went off at 3, 4am several times. It's all part of the experience. ^__^

Probably you're circuit breaker that. I had it. It led me to knowing how to turn the electric off to anywhere (i.e. anyone who I know has left their computer and TV on when they went out's room) I like.

CDs! :-D Today I've been listening to Billy Talent, so I'd suggest that. Is a very dirty rock. And the Kaiser Chiefs because I absolutely love that album.

All our electric switches are in the cupboard that they locked on us after the first week. >_< Thankfully my flat is pretty good for switching stuff off. *pets them* Still, it'd would've been fun to freak Flatmate of d00m out with it. *giggles*

Excitement is good. *nods* Unfortunately I need sleep before my head hits the keyboard. One day, we'll all get at least a week of normal sleep. Yeah, right. ^__^
