The new Nike advert has a brief shot of Roger kicking a football with bare feet. It always makes me giggle. ^__^ *pets him*

However the plotbunnies are killing me today. I was watching Rafa's live scores earlier (YAY Rafa! *snuggles him*) and contemplating that although Ferrero is sweet, I'd have been upset if he won because he's not part of our little fic group. Half asleep this morning, the best word I could come up with to describe our 'group' was pantheon, which then led me back to classics, which concluded in a plotbunny gleefully pouncing on me. Said plotbunny? Tennis players as Greek gods. I was not impressed with how amusing my muses seemed to find it.

Not to mention my Roger muse loves the idea of getting to throw thunderbolts. *woe*

Dammit I need to go write fic. Back later.

Though my main problem is that Andy won't tell me who he wants to be. Roger's the obvious choice for Zeus but Andy can't make his mind up. Right now he's leaning towards Apollo but he's got his eye on Mardy's Hermes sandals and I have a feeling there may be trouble. *sighs*

Yeah, well I live in a residential area where the most common thing that shows up is bills, and no one really wants those.

*nods thoughtfully* True, bills are evil. Our postal service gets in good practice every few years in July though, because millions of people order the new HP books online and the postman will be ritually sacrificed by enraged obsessive fans small children if he doesn't arrive early. ^__^

Ours actually made a snarky comment when I grabbed my copy off him a few years ago. *grins* No appreciation for the poor anxious people.

I've come to the conclusion our postmen in Canada are just lazy. *nods* I know a lot of people order things like HP online, and really everything online, but in my experience it comes via Xpresspost in the country, which is more like courier mail.

*giggles* Ours are usually fairly good. And ah, courier mail... our poor postmen mostly just have to cope. :) I think they actually enlisted thousands of extra helpers to get all the HP books out. *pets them*

Yep, avoidance of Spring. *nods* ;-) Oooo, Andy shapeshifting... oh this fic could be hot. I definitely agree with the wolf thing - and y'know, I read Roger's not too fond of dogs, so it'd make sense for Andy to be a cat 'shifter instead. *giggles* I can't believe I just said that makes sense!
