I need to stop wanting to write bloody Halcyon. I have to sit down tonight and answer emails and I need to go to bed early because I'm going shopping and sleeping at

rainy_roz's tomorrow so I need to be awake and coherent for that. And I stayed in bed till 2pm today after not going to sleep until 7am. And I have letters to write and stuff to do and the muses need to leave me alone now please. *grits her teeth*

Speaking of Halcyon however, I want to get the next two parts out preferably within a day of each other, because the end of part ten is a horrendous cliffhanger and as cruel as I can be, I really don't want to leave it for long. Because I would be murdered and I've had too many death threats this week as it is. However I have a Creative Writing thing to be done and sent by a week today and I'm supposed to be finished painting the cupboards at the weekend... *but*, if people ease up on the death threats just a little, I'll work on getting part ten up for Saturday night my time and eleven for Sunday night. Then I'll do the CW story over the next couple of days and get the epilogue for Halcyon up tpwards the end of next week. And then it'll be done and I can stop thinking about it for at least a couple of weeks until the muses poke me into going back and rewriting bits of it to make the continuity work better. *sighs*

I read a wonderful Harry/Draco fic in which Draco mentioned this song once and now I can't get that fic out my head every time I hear it. Not to mention I'm not too far from Blackburn in Lancaster, so the line "four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire" makes me giggle every time I hear it. Weird.

I haven't had any coffee today, so I'm going to go and find some. And then I may have a nap. Ficcing all night just confuses my body clock completely. *sighs*
