Basically? My father is a moron.

While I was out today he took the my shelves down, ready to decorate tomorrow. My shelves are above my desk. My laptop was on my desk. Apparently the fact he was raining down grit and dust and handling heavy objects above an expensive laptop didn't ocur to him - because gee, I thought the point of laptops was that you could MOVE them.

Thankfully he didn't drop a shelf on it but I did come home to a thick layer of gritty dust over it all. Five goddamn seconds it would have taken him to unplug it and move it across to the bed, out the way.

In case you couldn't tell, I am very attached to my laptop. I am not amused.

EDIT: Fish, did you lose a set to a goddamn qualifier?

'Scuse me. I need to fly to Miami right now to hit a certain blond American with his own tennis racquet.

EDIT:2 Sorry Fish, I take it back. The guy's ranked 39th, so he can't be that awful. Still, if you lose, the tennis-racquet-beating threat still stands.

Good boy Mardy. I'm just sad the TV coverage I get doesn't start till next week so I won't see the match. *sighs* Live Scores are going to shorten our life span from the stress you know. Isn't it weird how all the halves of our pairings seem to be playing each other lately?

Excluding Andy and Roger of course but... *crosses fingers*

If they play it'll be in the finals, which I'll get to see. *crosses every possible body part*

I'm torn between wanting Mardy to win and wanting Tommy to win because Roger's thirs round match will be televised here and I don't have Tommy on tape yet.

Argh, tough decision. I feel realyl sorry for Mardy lately though... tell you what, you cheer for Tommy and I'll cheer for Mardy? That way it'll balance out. :)

Maybe, and hopefully we won't jinx them both. Strangely, according to Mardy's website, they've only played once before. Travesty, travsety I say!

Definitely a travesty. A matchup that lickable should happen far more often. :)

Well we seem to have jinxed Andy already, so no idea what we'll do to Tommy and Mardy. *sighs*
