... Because the vote from English Lady was 'yay' for Canada and the vote from Scary Lady Who Knows All About Abroad was 'yay' also. And yet a glance through the Website of Lancaster proves it had lied to me again and I have to pay tuition fees to Lancaster AS WELL as to my uni abroad. Which is amazingly ridiculous - I won't be here to need tuition, so why should I be paying for it, WTF? So the angst within the world of Clo was followed by Much Sulking and Complaining of Teh Unfairness.

But aside from the sulking at my selfish university money-snatching, the verdict on Canada - and more specifically Alberta - is 'yay - if you're willing to put the work in'. Which is a little reassuring and a little ominous at the same time. I don't have to hand my list of preferred universities in until January but I do have to ask my English and Creative Writing tutors to email references to English Lady. Which made it almost spookily official when I asked my English tutor about it this morning. o_O

Right now I'm fifty-fifty. Half the time it's like "Yes, I'm going. No question." And then the rest of the time I think about it and it's "No. Definitely not." And it's bizarre how I can be convinced of two entirely opposite things, sometimes within the space of a few minutes. But if I won the lottery next week? I know I'd be going. Which tells me that it's the money my subconcious is obsessing about more than anything. Hhhmm. [livejournal.com profile] liroa15 do you know what the accomodation on/off campus like at Alberta? Because the Lancaster website had told me I'd probably have to find my own accomodation yet the U of A website seems much more optomistic. I'm oh so confused.

So I'm going to go and work on Philosophy, for the first time. It's going to confuse me anyway so I may as well save time and just stay confused all tonight. Understanding stuff takes way too much effort right now.

On a final note of good news, I have an extra £15 for the next week and a half, when I thought I had around £30 less. Which makes me very happy since I'll probably finish this term almost on budget. ^__^ Though I haven't sent Christmas presents and cards yet, so I shouldn't speak too soon.

Work! *drags self away from computer*

worry too much. Sister knows a couple of people in her history class from China and they stay at Newton Place, which is on campus. So's Lister, and a couple other dorms, I think. I live in the city so I don't know all that much about residence, though I will see what I can find.

Yay! On campus! It would really just make my life easier. :-)

And Lancaster's website is so full of lies about these things. *kicks it*

Yay! Thank you. :-D

They don't want you to leave, I think. :)

So that's it! The sneaky people... well I know their evil plan now! Mwahaha! ;-)

And we shall combat it with an evil plan of our own?

Yay! Evil plans of our own! *pets our evilness*

Now we just need the 'plan' part of the evil and we'll be fine. ^__^

*plots*

Well, I don't know. It's always so much easier to come up with the idea to have an evil plan than the evil plan itself. And did that make any sense?

It did, and it's true. *plots some more* And our evil plans can be... um... ah...

Possibly it needs some more work.

I think so. Unless we're going to beat people to death with Gingebread, although that may have some merit. Hmm....

Gingebread... *drools* Next time I go up to Grasmere in the Lake District, I am so finding a way to send you some Grasmere gingerbread and have it get there in one piece. Best. Gingerbread. Ever!

But... it may indeed have some merit. *ponders* Would have to be biiiiiig gingerbread though. Hhhm.

And thick too. We wouldn't want it to break off or anything. Because then it would be futile.

*nods thoughtfully* Good point.

See, we come up with good plans! ^__^

And then, after we're done, we could eat the murder weapon. This is getting better all the time. :)

We so rock at this evil plan thing. ^__^

It just takes us a little while to get there.

That's just the time we waste laughing evilly. We'd be twice as fast if we didn't keep pausing to cackle at our own evil plans. ;-)

But we wouldn't ever be allowed back at the evil people's association meetings if we didn't! I swear, it's like a rule or something. You have to cackle evilly.

*joins in cackling* That's our excuse, yes. But really, we're evil; we don't need an excuse
