You know what this doesn't reflect? Just how little I've been to the cinema in the last few years. I've missed Spiderwick Chronicles, Iron Man, My Blueberry Nights, Juno, everything that I meant to see. Partly because we only have an Odeon within easy distance which I think is the most expensive and least comfortable of cinemas, but also partly because I am useless at getting to a cinema while it's still showing something I want to see. Indiana Jones IV? Yeah. Not seen it. I'm contemplating taking a day off work to make sure I actually get there to see The Dark Knight.

But I am going to see Caspian this weekend. Fire, flood, apocalypse, I will be in a cinema, sitting on a seat, with popcorn and a sock to stuff inmy mother's mouth if she tries to do her usual running commentary. I will be there dammit.

Strawberries and cream: £2.50. Tennis tickets: £47. Nadal running from bees: priceless.
