... Does anyone know if the Top Gear boys were borrowing a Bugatti this weekend?

edit: Crikey, one article says it wasn't even the owner driving: two guys had borrowed it to 'take it for a spin'.

Though if you're stupid enough to lend your £800,000 253mph-capable car to a couple of guys in the first place... oh c'mon, you are kind of asking for something like this. Though another article's saying it was a consortium who owned it and they were renting it out.

Y'know, I was feeling seriously motivated a couple of hours ago. I was sitting on the bed with a dissertation book open and everything, intending to read it all night. When my chocolate cookie + coffee dissolved all over me and, as I was getting up to fetch a tissue, I thought "I don't want to listen to music, so I'll turn the computer off. I'll just check LJ quickly first."

Two hours later. Hi. Yeah. Computer going off now... but then I'm going to go and make dinner before reading so that's another hour.

Maybe I just shouldn't turn it on in the morning. Or, you know. Ever.

Last call to get a postcard. I'll be writing them tonight and sending them tomorrow on Monday. (Which is now tomorrow, making this edit pointless. Oh well.)

Tennis slashers, yours have a task involved. I've written a drabblish-length (it's handwritten and damned if I'm going to bother counting words) snippet and I'll be writing a few sentences of it on each card, along with a number. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (I love saying that), is to get together in the comments of this post when get your card, type up your sentences and then assemble the drabble together via the numbers on the cards. I'll backdate this post a couple of weeks so it'll be at the top of my journal and easy to find.

Obviously, people in Australia are going to get their cards at least five or six days later than UK people, so give it at least a week from tomorrow before asking around. If this works, I'll see about doing it again with a proper length fic (I've been planning to for... wow, years but never managed to write a fic for it. If this goes well, I'll have to. :) )

Mmm. Suppose I should get writing then.
