I tried to find a quote to put here but I can't quote an entire book.

Spent the morning chilling in bed, reading Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit and, in between getting occasionally narked by the pretension, having immense fun. All books should be this fun to read. Even knowing I have to write a 200 word review on it by tomorrow doesn't make it less fun.

I actually got my 500 (600) words of novel in for this week too, and I wasn't even the last one to submit it. Doing well on the productivity front so far; if I can just spend some quality time on dissertation stuff this afternoon...

I don't know whether to read the sonnets for Shakespeare this week or not. I still want to catch up on Othello and Twelfth Night which I probably will do in the exam, unlike the sonnets which I probably won't but I've found some of the best fic titles lurk within the evils of poetry. Then again, dissertation meeting Wednesday. Prioritise.

Feeling so lazy today. I should probably get out of my PJs sometime soon.

So went to watch Top Gear with make_a_move in the bar.

And it's a very good thing I did, because as I was walking back just now there was a fire engine in the car park beside our block and when I bumped into Miko, she told me they'd all been outside and only just been let back in. So I definitely would've missed at least the end of TG if I'd been here.

Mwahaha. I will not be beaten by annoying fire alarms during the only thing I watch on TV anymore.

That said, we decided to stick with TVs in rooms in future, because way too many people were talking over it in the bar. Didn't stop us laughing at the crazy golf outfits but still. Gggr.
