May. 11th, 2006 02:18 pmI wrote a sestina! Hee! Okay so with a lot of help copying from the structure of a Neil Gaiman one and a picture off deviantart to give me a topic to actually write about but I wrote a sestina dammit! Don't take this away from me!
Unfortunately there's still a long, *long* way to go yet and I have an hour to write four more poems so I have to run. Just had to crow over my sestina a little. I'm probably not going to be around at all until tomorrow night from now because I sorted out how much rewriting I have to do and yeah, failing is still a very real possiblity at this point. WHY did I work so hard in first year? I submitted all my good stuff when it didn't count, for godssake. I'm such a moron; I could've at least kept one or two things to help myself out this year.
Really really have to run now. Sestina! Yay!
